FPS limited to 63/64

I’ve noticed recently that my FPS are dropping from standard 120 to 63/64 (fps counter keeps jumping between the two).
I’ve always had 120 fps, haven’t changed anything in the settings, GPU drivers are updated and so on.
I’ve reset the game settings through the Blizzard app, which was a solution I found, but that didn’t help.
I’ve made sure my GPU settings are at max (including 3D).
I’ve done everything as per : Overwatch 2 Performance (FPS) Issues - Blizzard Support - still nothing.
I’ve Checked if the frames were being limited due to the in game settings- no.
I don’t have FPS issues with other games either. I’ve even tried to play the game setting everything at min- still 63-64 FPS…
Odd thing is, when I die, during the death recap, my fps jumps back to normal and drops back down when I re-spawn…
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Need to mention the platform you are on too.

You say standard 120… so I would assume xbox…

No, it’s PC.
I’m using Nvidia RTX 3070 if that assist.

Then it could be a windows setting. Possibly.

Unlikely to be the in game client that is the issue.

Would it not affect other games as well if that was the case?
What do you suggest I try?

Possibly. Unless they are already set to a low fps.

Reinstall gpu drivers. Reinstall game.

Do you use Razer Synapse / Chroma?

I’ve had that happen to me yesterday.

Try setting the “Limit FPS” setting to something else (from Display-Based to custom or vice versa) and back, applying the changes every time.

If that doesn’t work, try toggling “reduce buffering” once and back (also pressing apply)

I have Razer Synapse yeah… Just switched it off for OW and like Magic back to normal.
Thanks mate, I really appreciate the help!!
