I feel like my aim is bad and not getting better

Depends on what kind of aim you are good at.
If you are really good at tracking, as long as you don’t die, Tracer can be a 1 way ticket to GM. Even Widow can be a 1 way ticket. We know this because aimbots can have this devastating effect while the users gamesense is noneexistent. However, Game sense and positioning are under normal circumstances more important, as you need to be so good with your aim that your mistakes cannot be punished.

In short, Positioning/Gamesense will have more impact, but you can still carry with pure aim, though it needs to be a very special aim.

I found my problem everyone, I realized that I just haven’t been really paying attention to the game and zoning out while playing, I have now been constantly thinking about what I will do before doing it and that fixed my problem.

If you don’t have a 144hz monitor, try getting one (and putting the OW settings as low as you need to to maintain 144fps to match.)

Also, try removing the crosshair completely (or at most leaving a single dot). This should help you focus on the environment (and the Doomfist you want to kill) rather than the UI.

I know you said you’d sorted the problem, but these might help too!

Playing McCree with no crosshair made the hero so much easier for me, oddly.

Most humans have a limit at 111fps ~. deeper knowledge as to why that is so,
Mine is at 121,95fps, so i run a 144 just to be safe.

I have a 144hz monitor and its amazing. I have realised that strangely in gun fights i drop from 200fps to 80. Any solutions?
