Is my latency high due to DDOS mitigation?

I’m gaming from South Africa, with a regular in-game latency of around 180-190ms
As of a day or two ago, my latency is around 290ms, and I’m shooting where heads used to be.

My looking glass results are below, is there any useful info to be found in it?

where is the ping section?

Hello WayneDV,

The looking glass test checks the connection starting from the Blizzard servers to your home network using the Blizzard ISP routing. So it is not really useful when you need to see if your connection is affected by any problem when reaching our servers cause your ISP is probably using a completely different network routing path.

So to check please provide a WinMTR trace which checks your ISP connection path. You can upload these files on Pastebin and reply here with the Pastebin link using the preformatted text option (</>).

Hello WayneDV,

The problem in your case seems related to two of the nodes your ISP uses to reach our servers which are the following:

10.189.30.6 - 1 | 177 | 176 | 175 | 175 | 181 | 175 |

bundle-ether11.martr1.-.opentransit.net - 0 | 180 | 180 | 175 | 176 | 317 | 176 |

This is where you have latency spikes which then starts causing also a 1% packet loss in your connection. You need to sort this with your ISP so contact them. If possible send them the same WinMTR tests.
