Is this what "hard stuck" means?

I don’t know what to do, how to get out of silver. What else CAN I do, but absolutely dominate an entire game as tank, and still I get a loss?

I wish I could upload the screenshot from my match reports, but here’s an example from my last game:

MY STATS: 46 ELIMS - 11 ASSISTS - 7 DEATHS - 20,297 DAM - 33,221 MIT
OUR DPS 1: 32 ELIMS - 5 ASSISTS - 12 DEATHS - 14,934 DAM
OUR DPS 2: 36 ELIMS - 1 ASSISTS - 9 DEATHS - 12,175 DAM
OUR HEAL 1: 29 ELIMS - 37 ASSISTS - 7 DEATHS - 8,639 DAM - 15,268 HEALS
OUR HEAL 2: 21 ELIMS - 16 ASSISTS - 7 DEATHS - 6,537 DAM - 17,344 HEALS

THEIR TANK: 24 ELIMS - 4 ASSISTS - 14 DEATHS - 15,997 DAM - 10,660 MIT
THEIR DPS 1: 14 ELIMS - 4 ASSISTS - 18 DEATHS - 10,561 DAM
THEIR DPS 2: 23 ELIMS - 1 ASSISTS - 13 DEATHS - 13,799 DAM
THEIR HEAL 1: 8 ELIMS - 18 ASSISTS - 16 DEATHS - 3,643 DAM - 10,561 HEALS
THEIR HEAL 2: 23 ELIMS - 17 ASSISTS - 10 DEATHS - 8,679 DAM - 24,919 HEALS

Total:
My team : Elims: 164 - Deaths: 42 - Dam: 62582 - Heals: 32612 - MIT: 33221
Their team: Elims: 92 - Deaths: 78 - Dam: 52679 - Heals: 35480 - MIT: 10660

For once, I end up in a good team and we play well.
Statistically better than the other team.
But still, a loss. And it all just feels hopeless and pointless to get a game like this, after being put in game after game together with absolute vacuum heads.

Any ideas? (productive please)

Proof that, to a point, stats are meaningless.

I’d like to watch this game, but id guess your team were never truly winning fights and allowing them to stall repeatedly, or not pushing home your advantage.

Happened to me. It’s certainly a rare game, think it was on one of those king of the hill maps (best of 3 rounds). The team had a hamster that basically capped, and stalled the point capture up to 99%, and then that team capped it eventually again to take it to the final 1%.

Despite lesser stats overall, they won by grinding out the win by just staying alive long enough to do the job

Maybe that is what the lesser team did here, without the replay it’s otherwise hard to suggest anything else from my POV.

Essentially this.

It happens, as picture proves

Greetings @Jarhead, it happens also to me, but not for a long time, it is what it is.

If you watch the replay, it will be most likely due to the tank or a dps player not contesting when they should have (most likely during defending stage). There are mechanically good players out there that lack a brain.
