What was suggested was, if you think something is an issue and won’t swap to help as tank, or path your team through a better route… You are the issue. Not the DPS.
Rein isn’t in a great place right now. But remember, Rein D.Va is stronger that Rein Zarya atm for a reason.
You don’t need to counter specifics. You can just play a better comp, and rotate round the map better and you’ll win.

nor do they need to. they just need to do enough to swing a match in their favour. that could mean being the one to deal with the phara or mitigating the enemies win condition ults or something as small as keeping flankers off of your supports.
the word carry doesn’t mean you do everyone’s job for them.
they can be the difference between a win and a loss though.

The fact that people. Can carry up to around 3/400sr of their main sr with extreme ease, and up to within margin of error of their main rank with relative ease.
If you are not the defining factor in a game then you are accurately ranked and have no reason to complain.
If you’re not good enough to carry nor bad enough to be the reason for the loss then you are neither good enough to climb or bad enough to fall. Aka, your performance was not good enough to secure a win and since you are the only thing you can control, your lack of carry potential is the reason you didn’t win.

Look, I play Reinhart (Mainly) as tank. If you think a Reinhart can carry the whole team then you’re mistaken. Relying heavily on the tank to kill (Which is not really their job) and blaming them for a loss even though they did all they can, is barbaric.
I’m a high gold player, placement matches put me lower because of bad RNG, not performance. I admit I don’t play good in some games but I am not a silver player.

No one said you carry as rein. You carry as a tank player. If you can’t get value as Rein, the better players will know to swap immediately. Literally the job of the tank is to make space, soak up dmg and kill. Sadly Rein is only really good at the soaking up dmg bit atm. Too much spam for him to thrive.
And if you’ve dropped to silver, either that’s where you belong or you are doing something very wrong.
If you truly are a “high gold player” in silver you’ll climb and carry games.
I dropped from plat to silver and was back in plat in 3 days, because the silver games were ridiculously easy. I just played the tank I had most carry potential on at that level and did my thing.
Being a Rein main is rough right now. Broaden your horizons and, if you play well enough, you’ll be back where you think you belong.
