Lost Connection To Game Server

This is the test result i get on “battlenet looking glass” , any one can help me out?

it happened to me yesterday and again today, and sometimes im able to get in the game, sometimes i can play smooth and sometimes its dropping my out to the same error, the only solution I “figured” is to wait and retry.
my internet is working fine on other games

Ok so it seems that these issues occur for many players. I also got this issue and I have no problem with my internet connection. It just occurs out of nowhere and I even had to restart the game when playing competitive matches. Please do something about this - it’s impacting our ranking!
Beside this issue I also had the issue with the “your rendering device has been lost” and also mentioned it in another thread here, but just thought I should mention about it too so that you OW people will understand that many bugs started to occur and is making the game hardly enjoyable now.

been happening a lot lately with me.
last time a few minutes ago and the whole team dropped out bar one.
lots of people losing lots of points… i am not in a position of having to put up with -75% XP for 4 matches…
am getting sick of this crap tbh

Same. I just get into a comp game and I’m immediately DC’d, I load back in seconds later and see the rejoin match button, but it doesn’t work. I’ve dropped 100 SR this season because of this and much, much more in earlier seasons. My internet is perfectly fine and I’m able to stay connected to every other game I play, but whenever I play overwatch I’m disconnected 2-3 times a session. I love competitive but when I get dropped SR points for something that isn’t even my fault I just get frustrated with it.

Happening to me as well, lost 5 rating matches due to disconnects, not mentioning arcades and quick plays. I won’t even waste my time posting any winmtr tests since the reply is utterly predictable. CMs just make people go through all the formal steps to say something like “well we don’t have any issues with the servers, go call your ISP”. Sure, ISPs all around the world just decided to sabotage Overwatch. I haven’t seen a SINGLE case where the problem was actually solved through multiple threads. I guess we’ll just have to wait until Blizzard finally acknowledge there’s a mayor problem.

I’m also having a lot of problems connecting to the game since update to 1.31 version, so already couple months. I didn’t find working solution, the only thing I can do is just trying and trying to connect and hoping I’ll be lucky. Sometimes it takes me even one hour to get into the game :frowning: I was asked to post here traceroute, ping, winmtr and after I did this, support people suddenly stopped replying. already tired from this situation :frowning: and I don’t expect they will ever admit any problem.

Whenever you have a connection issue, the first thing we recommend is trying to discard some of the most common issues. That can be done by following all the steps in this article, including the advanced troubleshooting:

If the issue persists after that, please create your own thread (I’m going to close this one since having separate threads will be easier to follow-up with each one of you) including the following data:

  • Details of issue:
  • Date/time it started:
  • City/Country:
  • Internet Provider:
  • Traceroute (right after a disconnection or whenever you’re experiencing the issue)
  • Pathping (right after a disconnection or whenever you’re experiencing the issue)
  • WinMTR (right after a disconnection or whenever you’re experiencing the issue)
