Hey,

Basically, I live in the Middle East (Kuwait) and the servers just dropped today. My friends are getting 40-60 ms while I’m still at 120-130 and I’m not sure why. I’m going to share my results from the Looking Glass:

Hello Nero!

As the current situation occurring worldwide increases and mitigation measures are put in place to slow the spread, many people are stuck at home with little to do but play, watch movies, etc. A great deal of people are also working from home.
This has created unprecedented strain on the internet. To ensure an “okay” service for all, ISPs may de-prioritize traffic deemed non-essential. For a streamed movie, that’s not a problem. For a ping intensive game, it’s not so great.

From your details it would appear that the issue occurs within your ISP’s network, so contacting them would be your course of action after ensuring the issue isn’t with your local machine:

I’m located in Lebanon which is closer to Europe than the arabian gulf(which I assume is where the new middle east servers are located). As soon as the servers opened up, my ping went up from 80ms to 130ms. I have been looking on the forums, and it seems players from all countries that are close to Europe have been complaining too (Turkey for example). Could you please give us the option to connect to European servers again instead of the Middle eastern ones?

When I playing alone,my ping usually get 40-60ms,but when I playing with my friends from saudi arabia,my ping just stucked at 200+ms recently,is there anyway to fix this problem?

Stop using your copy/paste and help us instead. I’m having the same issue as many do on the forum.

I’m having the same Issue,i live in Algeria which is in north africa,closest country to EU and i was having a constant 75 ping,just yesterday my latency increased from 75 to 98 - 122 and it’s so unacceptable,do you have any solutions for us ?

have you managed to switch back to EU somehow ?

Just either give us an option to choose wether we’d like to play in me or eu servers or just remove the middle east servers, the game is LITERALLY unplayable, i have to wait 50 minutes to get a game this is so bs!!!, I can’t even get support games because of my high sr.

Nope. It keeps connecting me to the Middle East servers sometimes, while i live 20km away from Amsterdam.
