Reinhardt is often totally oblivious to that flanking reaper coming up behind him… of just the rest of this team mates in general because he only sees what’s in front of him and will be discouraged from say looking backwards to verify all his teammates are left… mercy does not have that problem… she essentially is always patrolling seeing the battle field from a host of diffrent fireing angles and this is most likely to spot flankers
You can make the same argument for every single support in the game. Zenyatta in particular, he sits even further back and can watch his teammates better than Mercy. She is not special in this regard, by a long shot.

my point is not about being in the back line its about mercy being all over the place… she is the random factor that can spoil things for anyone trying to sneak up on the group. unless she is just statically boosting a bastion or something
If you are talking about having a look at the entire battlefield - Pharah already exists.

i still think mercy has a sligth edge on her in that her survivability lets her relax a bit an think about whats going on more then pharah who can basically get deleted any time… but yeah Pharah is not bad at getting a general over view… and Sombra can be even better in terms of pure intel though if she is stealthed that much she may not be doing her needed portion of the damage…

I guess for me is because they claim to be good with Genji and all they do is spam jump and RMB. Why use LMB which requires more aim right ?
Anyway for me braindead means more like boring like widowmaker most of the time looking through your scope is braindead gameplay. Even though Winston is seen as a braindead character by most i bet. But i find him more engaging and have too actually be aware of my surroundings more then WM. Also having a numb hand time to time is not making WM more fun either.
But yeah in short for me is Genji and WM.

Genji lul , he is one of the highest skill cap chars.
Braindead is Brigg without question as she was DESIGNED to be just that.

Thats because a “Braindead character” is a subjective thing
One player says genji is high skill… others see it as braindead because of the way they see it being played the majority of the time
Same can be said for every hero so yes you wont get objectivity because the question is seeking a subjective answer…
The same if you were to ask people “The Worst sandwich filling” people would reply with their least favorite

But in this case you have to eat it to claim its the worst, not watch others eat it. From what I’ve seen people who claim X character is braindead usually don’t even play said character.
True the example is not an exact match however experience wise it still marrys
You experience the hero you hate the most hence you decide based on experience
So yes its a subjective thing… and although you could be objective it all depends on the qualifiers of what people consider “braindead”
Well, technically speaking the more experience you have playing (not watching) all characters, the more objective your answer could be. A one trick and a flex player obviously have different weight on the matter. Similarly someone who dines in a lot of places can have a more credible opinion on which food is bad than someone who goes only to their local McDonalds.

I only found out about this a few months ago but when you hold up your shield as Rein you can hold down the button you would usually use to swing your hammer to rotate the camera around yourself

Mai rule them all and maybe sombra.
Reaper. Just walk straight at people pressing fire. Then fly away and do it again.
Selfheal will keep you alive unless you forget to fly away when your health gets too low.
Reaper is such a single braincell hero. It hurts to watch him on the kill cam.

Junkrat. I like playing him, but almost every kill is from spamming and shooting randomly.
