Mouse,Gameplay Delay/Stuttering Effect

Lately I’ve been playing overwatch without a problem.
And somehow, suddenly when I play, my mouse sometimes freezes for like a split second, and my character last movement (ex. : shooting, walking) will continue doing it without me touching anything for a second.
I’ve repaired the game but it seems it didn’t fix anything.
Any idea on how is this happening ?

[EDIT]

And I just discovered too that my mouse somehow became slow when this happens, its like i’m stuck in a mud.

I can’t play overwatch properly like this

No spare mouse to try out?

Or try a different usb port on the motherboard.

I even bought a new mouse just to try it out.
It works fine on other game, only on overwatch the problem occurs

From your description it seems that this may be a connection problem.

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

Hello Kazukishi,

Your test shows some instability and some packet losses. Given your description of the issue, I would recommend you try closing all background applications first. As usual, make sure you only leave what your system needs to function properly. If you have a VPN installed, please remove it completely.

If the issue persists though, please follow also the advice provided here and see if you notice an improvement.

A small note: if you’re playing on a laptop, make sure the touchpad is disabled during the game, or it can cause some odd behaviour, like a hero moving or shooting without you giving the command.

Hello !
Thanks for the reply, I’ve done everything you told me to do and it seems it doesn’t fix anything.
I’ve closed all background applications, delete vpn, and disable my touchpad.
I’ve changed my network with 2 different isp and its still the same.

Is there something wrong with my laptop ?

Hello Kazukishi,

Could you please create your DxDiag and MSInfo files so we can take a look?

You can paste the content of each file on a web like Pastebin and provide us with the links. If it doesn’t let you publish your message because of the links, try to paste them using the preformatted text option (</> button).

Hello sorry for the late reply !
I’ve created the MSInfo and DxDiag file but somehow the MSInfo file is so big it doesn’t let me publish it on pastebin or here.
So i’ll post my DxDiag first here

I’m not sure about laptops, but on a PC I would recommend trying the following:

If you’re stuttering I would recommend changing your video card’s settings to “Max Pre-rendered Frames = 1.” Next, change the power setting on your card to “Power Management Mode = Prefer Max Performance”. Finally, turn off “Vsync.” If you have an antivirus program make sure it is in “game mode.” Most antivirus programs have this profile now.
