from what i heard tanks and non-mercy support mains there bitching as well
the only people who were against the nerf was people who have 0 sense of game knowledge ,aka ,mercy mains
resurrect had 0 counters, and it’s the most impactful ability in the game that mercy could get relatively fast
ah and pros asked for that nerf , literally almost every single pro was against mercy

Actually it’s been almost a year since old rez, and I’m pretty sure most Mercy mains have moved on (Mass rez won’t be forgotten though). Honestly, mass rez usually was only a problem if your team used up all your ults to kill off them without even CONSIDERING if Mercy had her ult. It was all about ult tracking. Simply ignoring the Mercy as just another support like Lucio and Zen at the time was your team’s biggest mistake, but it happened so commonly in lower ranks. Now obviously, I wasn’t a fan of just hiding and waiting for my time to shine, but I feel like just a few fixes and mass rez could’ve been viable. The same way that S76 and Mccree and Genji’s ults are viable yet “Balanced”. Have some sort of counter play besides just saving ults.
And then some of the SAME pros regretted saying that when Mercy meta came along. Most of the support pros (OWL and just popular streamers) have stated that the “balanced” Mercy IS balanced, but just outright boring and on some level not impactful with her ult.

Clearly you didn’t read the thread properly. I wasn’t comparing mass ress to mine field (I’m assuming is the not live feature). I was highlighting the fact that mass ress has a legitimate counter.
It was comparing. You compared mass ress and minefield, and saw that minefield countered mass ress
Which is highlighting that mass ress had a counter. Reword it all you want. The meaning doesn’t change.
Uh… NO. You were a bad Mercy FOR hiding and seeking. At most I hid briefly for incoming team wipe ults. You DID NOT want to spend all your time doing it. Goodness sake it’s amazing how many people got this wrong. No wonder people said to me “finally a good Mercy” back then. I just took it as a compliment. I wish I knew then just how many people played her horribly. Maybe I could have stopped mass rez being axed and this **** valk ult being installed
Cause the removed feature was a hell of a lot more fun than the boring live ult + cooldown rez she has…
