When the priority queue feature was announced I was pretty happy. I avoid comp pretty much completely due to very bad experiences and play only quickplay (and some arcade).
After many (!) games and lots of priority queues my impression:

queue times in the following matches don’t get shorter. Often they even take much longer than usual

they said, to reduce queue times they would be more “lenient” with matchmaking rules. Actually almost all of these priority games are aweful. Today I and another random guy both ended up there due to backfilling a game. I am mid silver. He was high bronze. Enemy team had only plat and diamond (as far as open profiles). I mean… what’s the point? I can’t even be mad about teammates flaming us two for being bad. Yes, we are. What are we doing here?
Sadly this is not the rare exception. It’s the usual thing happening after the even longer queue.
By now I consider leaving backfilling games, which I didn’t do before the priority bonus…
