I think you missed it. The TOS say that while you can have multiple accounts, only 3 accounts that have Blizzard balance are allowed.
So you can have as many accounts as you want, but only 3 of them are allowed to have Blizzard Balance (Blizzardâs currency). Therefore, Jeff wouldnât have done anything wrong by having 6 accounts.
Smurfing isnt a problem at all.
Having alt accounts to learn heroes helps a lot.
Getting recked by smurfs is ok, since the better player must win.
Trowing games to keep a low rank isnât since its part of gameplay sabutage and wining a game isnt gameplay sabutage.
Lastly ill add a statement from Jeffry.

Reason why DPSâs smurf. High rank is just no fun, if you hit high rank you get punished by only playing vs goats, tanks or support heavy compsâŚ

Funny thing this is the 4-5th season this happens. And for heroes like Rine/Zarya its actually there 14 season there at the top. How about some real nerfs now?
Omg Iâm a cheater bc I used to play as a low gold with dia/masters qp, and crushed through gold without a single lose.
I definitely had a unfair advantage bc I was already from qp on a mid plat level if not higher.
Since I improved myself I had a unfair advantage against golds.
Like improving and practicing.

They are bullies, and also cowards since they hide behind a computer screen and a video game to behave like that.

Iâm still playing OW because the game is good, but never in competitive again except for the 10 qualification matches. And I wonât give a cent to Blizzard ever again for this game until they fix this.
Smurfs are not problematic or common as Boosters.
Booster are high rank player who boost account for money.
the amount of booster we have in low rank is staggering.
They are very easy to spot, and I had some game sessions with a booster every second game.
Blizzard are not policing comp , and the sad result is a lot of people leaving overwatch.

If he plays much better but still is stuck in lower ranks than itâs not his fault but the ranking.

Smurf are a problem in every competitive multiplayer game. Else there wouldnât be measures to reduce them and the toxicity they bring. Of course Blizzard will shrug it off and keep on rolling because they get money from the smurfs.
Smurfs will get in there respected rank. If they donât lose games.
But since there is no point in going high rank and fighting goats 8/10 games.
They might as well trow games. Itâs just the logical thing to do at this state of the game.

I was confused about this as well, no the word smurfs was actually a name used by some famous dota 1 palyers, that called their alt accounts âPappaSmurfâ and âLittleSmurfâ or something. They were extremely good at the game, so no one wanted to play with them. So they used those accounts to âpwn, some unknowing noobsâ, as they called it.
No its not reportable, you have to treat the problem that causes players to have alt accounts, not the alt accounts, lack of proper ranking system that is based on role/hero based SR system / MMR system is what encourages having alts, cos no one is same elo on every single hero but most wanna play what they want but ranking system holds them back in doing so, thatâs when players resort to alt accounts and smurfing is simply a problem of for example player that wants to pickup Ana but canât cos you keep going dive against that player, so that player is forced to play Brigitte a hero way above heâs skill level, a proper ranking system would disallow that and remove need for alt accounts.
Just adress the cause of the problem not the problem, you fix more issues that way, you donât have to agree with me, heck i expect you to agree with me, cos if you donât then i guess smurfing isât such a big problem as you claim it to be, this might sound childish but this is reality, and the reality is that we all human and we all wanna play what we want, sometimes its not optimal under 1 single account due lack of a proper ranked system.
Right, all smurfs are good guys who simply want to try a new character but cant risk their rank. What a joke.

Everyone has there reasons. I like to own accounts for each role and then i need an account for team que so that i donât mess up the team total SR.
And now i need a smurf account to not face goats 8/10 games because high rank is way to stale to even enjoy.
Using your superior gaming time and skill to stomp low ranked players makes you a sad person. If you need that to feed your ego, you have some problems.
