PVE wasn’t limited to what the game engine could do. PVE content was limited because of the lack of resources and later due to the lay-offs, so they ended up using what had already been made and finished what wasn’t that they could use to milk us for more money.
I’ll quote the information from 2019 and leave you to spend your night playing.
“Overwatch 2 runs on an upgraded version of the original game’s engine which allows for larger map sizes to better support the new story-based player versus environment (PvE) elements.”
OW1 PvE was limited by what the engine could do.
Good night.
Dude what are you talking about. Splashbang is telling you the failure of PvE was not the engine but the whole pipeline. OW could run PvE, yes the new engine was better to create a more immersive experience, but it isn’t the source of the problem behind PvE cancellation. You’re missing the point they’re adressing.
Nope, no event, nothing.
Just trying to find people stupid enough to pay 50$ on skins.
No that is something we both agreed on.
But the reason OW1 PvE was limited in its scope was down to the engine.
All PvE content in ow is pretty much tedious garbage to me. But it failed because of lack of interest and intrusive costs.
But that’s probably something a shill would say. Or something.
Save your money. Complete waste
its funny on how much we need to cope huh? thats the cold reality we have to face as old overwatch players. just dogfood on a platter, really.
