Wich is completely meaningless if you dont give a damn about skins. I bought ow 1 to play ow1. Not a downgraded f2p sequal. They forcefully took ow 1 away, so they would have to add something new if they require you to pay for it AGAIN. Otherwise its litterally just a product you already paid for with nothing new, wich forcefully got taken away frm you
I would imagine, legally speaking, the disc will just be a download key and thus youâre still buying a digital product.

The terms of service did say they could do this at any point. You agreed to it. It sucks, but it was always a possibility.

Every game needs to evolve, everything that u had in OW1 u still has it now in OW2. OW2 is a better BCS of balance.OW1 didnât have any balance and all smurfs f that mate.

I notice a lot of the time people have a very linear idea of how something should be done, and that leads to a lot of issues.
No, it has nothing to do with others not doing what I personally want, itâs about completing an objective as a team overall, nothing personal or what I want, it could be something as simple as positioning and staying on the payload/pushbot, now compared to back then. The overall quality of competitive matches, comms, skill, etc, all seems to have dropped compared to OW1 competitive days. Many others agree from what Iâve seen

I wouldnât put it past Blizzard to artificially pad lobbies with bots especially now when they admitted that player engagement has taken a downturn in their financial reportâŚ
Maybe having the game on Steam will give the game a bit of a resurgence but who knowsâŚ

Agreed, Overwatch used to be fun. But Overwatch 2 is a mashup of bad quality.
The servers, or BattleNet seems to be flaky given the amount of leavers I am suffering.
Matches are one-sided - rarely ever 50-50 of which matchmaking should be solving.
The amount of leavers on this game is laughable.
Balance is likely a big problem for Blizzard to resolve. Even the latest comms post states that the new here Illoris I think the new hero is named, says that she is Very Strong⌠surely if they seek balance, she should be very well balanced?
Balance could be a factor leading to the one-sided matches also.

Shadowlands is an expansion and not a stand alone product. However overwatch 2 is in fact a stand alone product. One wich is basicly the exact same thing as overwatch 1. Overwatch 2 should have been a patch for overwatch 1. Because it does not have enough new stuff to be called a different product.
Also you mentioned overwatch 2 being better because of the balance? Wich balance? it been an unbalanced mess so far.

Come on, they probably knew how strong illari was. A very strong new hero is just the right reason why people might spent on the battlepass. So they can play the OP heroes before the non whaling players unlock her.
I mean you surely dont think its coincidence that new heroes are always strong instead of being terribly weak. If it was an accident then there would also be very underwhelmingly weak ones. But people wont buy a battlepass for a weak one

Dude, itâs an expansion pack, not the game itself. The game itself changes every expansion. OW2 however, just added in new heroes and toggles changes over time. Itâs not a good comparison, sorry.
100%. Blizzard always make the newest additions very OP to begin with. Thatâs what gets people interested in spending money to acquiring them. I ainât one of those people but there sadly are quite a lot out there.
Yep if you look back at the new heroes added in overwatch 2, the only one wich was not that disgustingly OP was lifeweaver. Every other one was just too frustrating to play against at launch.
If you look at ow1 as well, almost all heroes were op at launch. Remember brigitte? Doomfist? Moira? I donât think ashe or sigma were too op, but several others definitely were and those heroes were free without grinding a battlepass.
They did admit that they wabt new heroes to feel strong to avoid how lifeweaverâs launch kinda flopped. Also partly because they donât have that much data of her from their small scale testing.
Theyâll nerf her in mid season patch.
Them being strong was fine when you got acces to them directly because you bought the game. But now its OP heroes behind a paywall. Non paying people wont be able to play the hero while its still OP. Heroes are locked behind the battlepass lvl 45 or 50 right? one of the 2? I play more games than an average player and i still am at lvl 20 only. Meanwhile paying players get to destroy others with OP heroes because they paid.

Iâd like to think my playtime is avarage and i unlocked her on saturday. you only need to play 3 or so qp matches every few days, win or lose doesnât matter.
Yeah that is just straight up lie . I play more matches than that every day on qp and i still am on 24. You probably bought the battlepass and are enjoying the extra xp boost from that
/Ibought a battlepas some seasons ago with the coins i got from weeklies. And with that xp boost i did get to lvl 45-50 that quickly. However without the battlepass xp boost you would have to play like a full time job to have illari unlocked now

I donât have the battlepass because it doesnât have anything super cool in it. I have enough free coins to get it but i donât want it.
Just aim for all possible seasonal and event challenges and itâll help
I did tho, all the event stuff and dailies and weeklies so far and its just impossible to have the new hero unlocked already without the battlepass xp boost.
