Unfortunately it has to be that way because some clowns would start rebooting their internet or disconnecting from it to leave and not be penalised. There perhaps should be a grace period where if you get back on swiftly you donât get punished but Idk I guess they still see it as you screwing over your teammates even if its not your fault.

Thatâs why i mentioned that the punishment ban would still be in effect, but only after that match has ended. Just so that the person who had the dc can join the ongoing game again to help their teammates. Or if they do return they just wonât get the victory sr if they do win, but the possible loss sr would still affect them.
I think there is a minute of grace period to rejoin without punishments for leaving, but if your game loads just a second too slow youâre hit with the ban and canât rejoin.
Thatâs why i think it would be nice to be able to only join the game that you left and be hit by the punishment only after that match ends.
It would change nothing but being able to join the game that you left, regardless if you get banned right after it ends.
