The error may be caused by third party programs running in the background. So it would be good to try and remove the following programs in your case:
- ICE Audi Wizard Part of Realtek Audio Drivers that may cause crashes or freezes in our games
- IDM (Internet Download Manager) may cause crashes with our games
- Windows 10 Game Bar often causes crashes with our games
- Nvidia Share may also cause crashes with our games
Make a test in game with these programs removed, if the issue persists try this:
- Reduce the Render scaling
- In game open Options
- On the video tab click Advanced
(Not Advanced Performance Stats) - Lower Render Scale to 100%
Make another test if the problem is still there go into NVIDIA control panel, and under the “Manage 3D settings” => “Program settings” => Overwatch tab, set the following:
Energy mode: Maximum performance
Max. pre-rendered frames: 3
Interlacing optimization: None
V-sync: None
Triple buffer: None
After this reset the in-game options from the Blizzard App
