Just a useless thread for players to say “I think I just faced off against AlphaStar.”
I’ll go first:
My first 5 placement matches, I think 2 were vs. AI.
One game I watch the replay, and my opponent almost never multiclicked a command, at any time. The other game was very back-and-forth, but my opponent matched my counters and flanks pretty well, better than usual for my League (Gold Tier 1).
Disclosure: I’m typically a mid-level Plat in US servers, with over 3500 games in 10 years. My assumptions are simply based on the pattern of behavior of my typical opponents.
