Hello everyone,

I’m having trouble logging into both MoP Classic and Retail WoW right now. No matter which version I try, I can’t get in or play.

I’d like to know if this is a server-wide issue or if it’s something only happening on my end🤔.

I’ve tried so far:

  • Restarted the client and my PC (no change).
  • Checked my internet connection, which seems stable.

My main questions are:

  1. Are the servers currently down for maintenance or due to an outage?
  2. If so, how long is the downtime expected to last?

Same here.

Retail works.

MoP does not work and all characters are gone. Now Firemaw is down so think they just have server problems atm.

I can’t log into Classic Anniversary either. On Retail I could log in, but taking the flight path causes the Instance not found error and my character dies instead of loading to the new map. Loads of corpses where I died too…

This problem is here from 1 hour still nothing changed. It’s impossible to login in any Classic server MoP or Anniversary

Yeah MoP shows that the servers up but all my characters have vanished.

Directly disrespectful IMO…the fact that blizzard do not announce anything reguarding their totally unreliable game.
Should do a mass leave, they only seem to care about money.

Yeah, me too… I was playing on Anniversary, switched characters, and couldn’t log in anymore. I can still log in with my account, but characters take a while to appear. When I try to enter the world, I get stuck on the loading screen and get the message “Character not found.”

For me they are gone at first. But if u sit and wait after u selected u’re server. They will appear again. But if u try to login it will say character not found

i’ve legit reinstalled the game, and done enough scan and repair for a lifetime. Then i saw that my account was sett to Americans when i play on EU. Changed it back and still is a problem. Can blizzard please pay their solo dev more to fix this?

Same here. Firemaw is down and my realm ( Pyrewood) not showing any of my characters.

I agree with all of this. All my attempts have also been unsuccessful. Server login is slow, no characters appear, and there’s no usable button.

…and maybe a lonely developer is sitting somewhere and saying “I told them so” but I suppose we just have to wait.

Looking at US forums, there seems to be no reports about this. So it’s most likely an EU only thing.

I guess they don’t have EU employees anymore, so I guess we have to wait until California office time before we might get something. It’s 9pm in Cali, so it might be a few hours.

That’s not good, not a normal server issue. Something’s not working right… Hopefully not a DDOS or something? If people are dying, maybe they have to do a rollback…
