all we will get as a blue post is same thing we get everytime something like this happens for r the past 20+ years post goes like this.
We are aware of the problem and working on a solution.
World Server Down on Retail EU for me, I have some luck logging into characters I haven’t touched. But as soon as I get into any type of loading screen it ends up stuck on it and eventually giving the message that the servers are down. The issue happened a good 3hrs ago for me now.
We are at 4 hours now that this problem is there
At this point it really feels worse than playing on a private server

At least for me Anniversary works fine.
Checked multiple MoP and Retail, same-ish problem everywhere
Let’s hope now that even Retail EU is full down Blizzard will notice it
US realms are fine, and noone care/read EU forums.
This is not optimal situation.
Not a surprise really. The world server(s) have been wonky for weeks, ppl complaining about extreme lag and disconnects. If they cant find the error at first they just wait until it breaks completely 
But tbf it’s a smol indi company and this is the first month they run any kind of game server, let’s give them some slack…
I get character selection screen and when I try to log in I get 90% through loading then sticks for a few mins before failure which disconnects me, no error message and I have to log back in to get back to server select screen.
Even creating a new character doesn’t resolve issues.

The same is here (EU). I cannot go past the Realm Selection list. My realm Nethergarde Keep appears online in the list, even though locked for new players. Only the Firemaw is shown offline. But logging to the server is not possible.
P.S. Eventually my characters appear, but entering a world is not possible: “Character not found” error shown after long waiting.
