So after 7 long days of Rogue progression, starting from scratch with a new build meaning gear farming, ancestral hunting… glyph hunting… Glyph empowering… Tier set token farming (always the last token is an absolute RNG nightmare to drop even with the Cube) I finally got myself in a position to take on Mephisto.

Ofc not being the current meta builds who rely on insane amounts of resolve to more or less make yourself invincible and Overpower stacks to give you insane burst, the Rogue took a bit of work. A lot of failed sweary work due to her being so low on defence she was getting one shotted by attacks the druid laughed at.

!st phase, Akarat, is of course the easy part, he falls pretty easy unless you’re slow and not watching the signs of what he’s about to do.

"nd part when mephisto shows, oh boy. Lots of one shot deaths here. Today however, I worked out a good strat and tinkered a bit with my set up, gave myself a barrier that activates once Ive “run” a fair bit. The “Dash” ability really helped here.

Made it phase 3 where you fight Mephisto properly (in actual fact he’s had enough of your shenanigans…). Three attempts and…

Which lead to me yelling loudly “[REDACTED] YOU MEHISTO!” which had Roscoe running through to my room wondering what i was yelling at then a phone call from my mum sounding rather panicked asking if I was OK…

When I rpelie “yeah i just killed the boss” she said rather unsportingly "ya [redacted] you had me worried when you shouted before laughing then saying “whats for my tea”.

Ahh the life of being a full time carer.

Sobs again … was watching the old thread last night but had to go to bed and so missed it yet again. I’d been monitoring it for the last week or so and there it is, gone, while I was asleep. Again. So no first post for me yet again :sob:
