Hello everybody,
After WoW Remix: Legion, I logged back into retail, stood in Stormwind, and thought:
“This can’t be all there is.”
It wasn’t about the freshly leveled character standing there. It was the feeling of being alone in an MMO.
I’ve been in big guilds, efficient raid teams, and Discord servers full of channels that no one talks in anymore. Names online — but no one really there. And I realized what I miss isn’t progress.
It’s presence.
I wanted a place to call home. A space for people who still feel that wide-eyed excitement when exploring Azeroth — housing, collecting, dreaming of finally placing all those 1% mounts we’ve farmed.
So instead of searching, I decided to build it.
FOLK on Ravencrest (Alliance) isn’t meant to explode overnight. I don’t want 300 members. I don’t want noise. I want a core of players who actually show up for each other. People who log in, hop into Discord, and say yes to a random achievement run at midnight — or clear old raids just because we feel like it.
We’re building slowly, brick by brick. While we already have a few members, we take the time to get to know each other and grow intentionally.
I’m currently forming a Normal raid team. Nothing hardcore. No parse obsession. No shouting when someone makes a mistake. I’m looking for players who are consistent, prepared, and motivated — not perfect. Reliability matters more than logs. Effort matters more than ego.
Outside of raiding, I want the guild to feel alive: casual runs, collecting, transmog debates that last too long, guild events that are slightly chaotic but memorable — and when housing finally arrives, neighbors, not just guildmates.
Most of all, I’m looking for individuals 25+ who want to participate. Not people who sit in the guild for perks — but people who help shape it, join events, bring ideas, and care about the atmosphere we’re building.
This isn’t a finished house you’re being invited into. It’s an empty plot of land.
If you want something polished and established, there are plenty of options. If you want to help build something meaningful from the ground up — and actually matter — this might be your place.
I’m not promising cutting-edge achievements. I’m promising intention. And with the right people, it could become something really special.
“We stand together.” — Anduin Wrynn
