I do not want to pay Blizzard yet. I want to try first to convince them to provide a fix for dying servers.
We both know that noone will go to underpopulated realm. Chromie PvE is on brink of extinction, just like ZT.
Ask them to fix DYING servers is OK, asking them to merge medium-high servers for your convenience is egocentric and stupid.
Only the true horror of Lagaran will put the fear of the Light back into people that think overcrowded servers are the best.

Then let’s merge firemaw, gehennas, and earthshaker. And still have only 1 layer. Lag is also a part of the classic experience.
Do you think they will send the characters on the closing realms to a single PvE or PvP realm or spread them out among the other realms?
Imagine if they sent them all to gehennas or firemaw, one faction will be livid.

- My requests for Blizz to open free transfer to HW from all servers as promised?
Or
- When I together with a load of others fought to keep RP realms alive … If all three RP realms were closed as communicated, we would have no RP realms and no low-pop PvE realms either - something that Blizz explicitly said they would maintain.
If you compare fighting for the right to KEEP something at all with the right to save the price of a transfer … I don’t really know what to say any more.

I’m not sure “none” is accurate. We already have a few people on the forums and others I personally know that would transfer here.
Then we’ll take care of the advertisement on high populated servers.
I don’t see why we couldn’t make Zandalar Tribe successful.
If we never have free transfers open then we’ll never know.

Blizzard isn’t going to change their minds about how to do the merges if a few dozen people move to ZT
Nobody knows how many will join ZT.
It could be 1 or 10 or 100 or a 1000. If you don’t give us a chance, then we’ll never know.

Nah, I’m writing that one off as impossible to have any meaningful effect. They’re tossing us onto a PvE realm since it’s smoother than the other way around

Opening free transfers to Zandalar Tribe costs blizzard nothing. They instead give a chance and hope to a community to grow.
I don’t see why they wouldn’t give us a chance. They have nothing to lose in doing so.

Right now it’s only going to create confusion and be misleading as to why they moved to ZT when it’s closing anyway. At this point I don’t see what it’s adding. It will come down to the mergers anyway.
I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I really don’t see how it could work. Even if ZT magically stayed open, then what once Ulduar or Crusader rolls out
