10.1 class balance for M+ was pretty good for once,we had 1 mandatory slot in the grp for Shadow priest and that was it,every other slot was open for many Class/specs to join even on highest dungeons (+25-26-27 at the time)
Now after 10.1.5 everything got screwed so hard we got almost mandatory slot for Guardian tank(there is some space for DH still),we got 3 mandatory slots for Aug evoker/SP and Hpally(Thanks alot Blizzard for that fair rework to Hpally,its so nice every other healer to be excluded if its not Hpally)
On top of having insane kit(Hpally i mean) externals/utility/100% insta cast healing(most toxic and worse idea ever for the game,which also works pretty the same way in PvP)
So ye thanks Blizzard for screwing everyone that is not fotm reroller!!!
PS:Also Hpally dmg mainly comes also from insta casting
PS2:And you gave them Battleres and interrupt
its a problem for the 0.01%. i see you play on this range with this char. sad for you but nothing blizzard needs to fix imo. Everything above +21 doesn’t reward you ingame except rank 1 title. Maybe remove that or play in a meta group. or remove aug evoker
i only play 16-17 now for the vault…everything above is pointless
I agree with you that Blizzard shouldnt focus on that low % of players,but it wasnt a problem before 10.1.5 and on top of thati dont think is a problem only for the people that push this keys,many of the lower rio players watch and just copy streamers/guide writers ,so becomes problem for lower keys too
then its a community problem follow the pointless mdi and great push streamers playing this comp. Nothing blizzard can do here. they nerf specs and thise streamers who live from wow switch to the 100th alt char and tomorrow they play bm, hubter, rogue, ele, disc whatever.
Players need to understand that those no lifers always play meta and we with jobs can’t compete and play 39 specs.

If you play with a decend Guardian, Hpall and a Shadowpriest EVERY dungeon gehts so so sooo much easier.
It is “not a 0,01%” thing. It effect every player in every Tier.
If classes gets so strong that you crippel yourself if you DONT use/have them in your group then something is wrong.

Hell i play main Retripala and have more fun playing my Pala as Holy right now (even with my haste/versa stat split) just because even if i only play “half decent” the m+ runs are easier then with a “moderate good healer of any diffrent class”
Add a Shadowpriest to your group and you get Mass Dispell AND insane group Heal that will make everything much more easy.
Add an Augvoker into the mix and every +20 keys turn into a +16. A 22 key turns into a 18. AND you get cauterizing flame and bloodlust (oh and dont forgett the groupwide Absorbshields and heals)
Have both? Then your Second DD will giggle every freaking time a gets PI and Augvoker Buffs at the same time with DPS meter off the charts.
It is SO SO SOOOOO much more “fun” to play “near” this current Meta in every M+ tier compared to anything else.
And since it is more “fun” and it is “easier” everything else starts to feel bad.

They way WoW works right now they could change EVERY healer into a supporter.
Healer are only here to heal some Healchecks anyway.
Rework all healer into Supporter and change the amount of Healing needet in dungeons. Tanks dont need healers and the “offheal” from most classes should be enough. You cant “heal” fails anyway, if a DD makes a misstake he is dead period, doesnt matter if you have a healer or not.
as i said remove this support spec. it doesn’t work with current iteration of wow.
and yes holy pala ist busted atm ^^ dont know about guardian. was good in 10.1 and now better because talent switched. but this tank was dog for a long time now.
they could fix thise specs and i expect some nerfs to gdruid, holy pala and aug evo. but tomorrow something else takes the place
Yeah, HPAL is so broken it’s just not funny anymore. They could just hotfix nerf them, but refuse to.
Happens when the game devs have no idea how to play the game and refuse to listen to feedback.
Like i said mate,in 10.1 so many more class/specs were playing on the highest level,it seems they finally got it right balance wise,and now they totally broke everything
they reworked mage, holy pala and added a new spec. I dont know if tank is that relevant i think they pick guadian because it deals massiv damage with aug evoker because raze is now a separate ability. correct me if i am wrong you could still play prot but they wont because of holy paladin
so all it comes back to the reworks yes they could fix that imo. but not this stupid mindset the 0.01% player have

Imma be real at the high end the DPS meta was already converging on sp fire mage x with tank being bear or VDH in 10.1
Outside of prot Paladin, S1 dragonflight was the best m+ meta weve had since titles were added. Every spec besides maybe afflock playing above title range and multiple comps pushing the highest possible keys.
The fact we regressed to the most rigid meta we’ve ever seen in the span of a season is just disappointing.

The support specc is positive for WoW. It has had a positive impact on tank/healer popularity due to easing the role difficulty with tbeir utility
Among other positives.
Right now it dont work because it doesnt have jts own role. Make groups 1-1-1-2 and suddenly it will work absolutely fine with expansion of how many classes have access to the role.

I think personally i may have said waiting til 11.0 to adding a brand new “role” would have been a better idea, itd allowed for maybe adding 2 or 3 more speccs to the game to join aug in this style of addition.
Hopefully they have some big plans to sort this by 10.2, i cant see this prolonging being a positive for the game really.

I actually think it will work in 1-1-1-3 (they should change dungeons to be for group of 6)
Doing this would require the mechsnical requirement to go higher, as dungeons would need complete rebalancing around additional interupts etc etc.
I cant see this being a positive for the game mode due to that as difficulty would need massively increasing.
I think currently keeping it to 5, but xreating a proper support role icon, and getting 2 or 3 more specxs out the door to fill the role is the best “now” fix they could apply.
Yes they got to retune dungeons for grp of 6,with only grp of 5 you leave only 2 slots for dps from so many dps specs in the game,which is a huge problem

The issue is how solidified the choices for those slots are.
You csnt have support classes filling 1 role, while at the same time a disparity in utility between the dps.
The utility of ur dps classes need to go down, to remove the locking down of choice as it needs to be fed into the support role adding the additional utility.
So make dps. Dps
