Changes are:
I might be wrong but changing 2 guaranteed Winter’s Chill stacks every Splinterstorm to “maybe you get Brain Freeze” looks like a substantial nerf. Instead of changing Spellslinger I would recommend fixing a Frostfire.
Well there goes Frost, no you have to play fire or Arcane were you need a Doctor degree in both to be able to keep up with the two button classes
The spec should be buffed to compensate.
But this is a GOOD change, as the current playstyle is the very definition of degenerate. Almost every other spell is forced out of our Icy Veins windows as we try and keep up with Ice Lance spam, and a macro is essentially mandatory to make the most of it.
I am stunned this made it live in it’s current state.
I am half hoping in the inevitable balancing hotfixes that usually arrive before mythic opens they deliberately break Spellslinger (and buff Frostfire) just to enable us to ditch this broken, unfun, unintuitive, sore on my fingers from spamming the same button repeatedly playstyle.
