Blizzard has already ruined the whole point of a global release. I have had a grand total of 7-8 hours playtime with disconnections while others are 25+ doing their thing.
You do understand that thousands upon thousands of players - customers reactivated their accounts aka paid money just for Classic, do you? And a huge portion of said players - customers hasn’t been able to experience the product they PAID for.
Blizzard knew to the full extend that the demand would be extremely high. Everyone knew this. Yet they failed… again.
Here is an example. My brother who stopped at Cataclysm reactivated his account with a 6 month subscription. He doesn’t care at all about retail and BfA. So far he has managed 0 hours in Classic. Yes, zero! He only has 3 hours per day available for WoW and guess what… He paid for something and he is not receiving it.

Tottaly accept ques, as they were expected, and I planned for it! But two random dcs that cost me 8 hours i que! On my unpaid workdays!

I took a week off. If this isn’t resolved Blizzard owes me a weeks pay in game time. Roughly 8 years of game time.

Still waiting for the first streamer that gets a random DC and when he/she tries to login again sees a 20k queue instead.
And people still think they don’t get privileged somehow.

Asmongold, easily the biggest streamer, already had a DC and was put at the back of a massive queue. So was Esfand. That was on launch night and I heard about it solely because people found it hilarious. So, yeah, there is certainly no streamer privilege. I’m no streamer and I got in with no queue on launch, and had a two hour queue tonight but no DC when I played.
I totally sympathise with your issue, but lets give the streamer beating a rest for a spell. We’re all in the same boat here.
Exactly this comment. Happy to stay in queue but don’t disconnect us and put us back in queue. This is F****d up !!
I took a day off at work and need to work at weekend, I thought that I will be able to play but all I did is waited for queue.
They will propably wait for a week or so, maybe add a few servers, start offering transfers to even out the population so that they can begin to prepare for layer removal.
It should be freaking illegal to sell subs for a game that you can’t play. I can not see the queue time until i pay, and its just one more failure from activision and disrespect to their customers. They had estimated amount of ppl who want to play Classic from beta test applications, they could have made a some kind of social research to anticipate the amount of ppl wishing to play. Don’t take my money if you are incapable to provide the service.

So true, and after few days Activision will proudly report extreme demand of their products and represent it as a huge success.
That seems reasonable, you have 1 day of no game access so should be compensated 183 days of game time. Makes sense.

I used remote access to log in at 8am when the queues werent too bad, but alas its now nearly 12am, I have a 3 hour break between shifts and Im sat in a 3 hours queue.
Unless you force yourself awake at 6am when there was no queue (there was a 2k queue at 7.30am UK) you are basically screwed for the day.
Us working people have zero chance, and you’d think with the aging population who are playing wow we have jobs, and lives.

You can’t seriously expect Blizzard to compensate you for a day’s work?
If you chose to sacrifice a day’s pay to play the game - that is on YOU. You didn’t pay Blizzard the £60 or whatever that you earned.
If there’s extended downtime Blizzard does sometimes refund players with extra gametime. But not 6 months for 1 day lmao.

Ill probably have to just wait several weeks. Get home from work and every server bar one had 2-5hour queues. The one I did play a little is probably more populated now so will have a 3hr queue when i get home
Im ok waiting 5 hours queue, but after that queue i want to play 24hours nonstop, not get kicked after 20mins and wait another 5hours queue, thats R E T A R D ED
