And an honest question: All you who want fast levelling for a period. SoM is there, guaranteed to last until October 1, with 100% bonus XP and free transfer … why not go there?

Switched to main char, sorry for any confusion. No, but i also never experienced a void and empty world where i could not do dungeons or complete group quests. I came to WoW from Everquest so the leveling pace of WoW felt very fast back then for me.
New players at the moment, due to how few they are is pretty much locked into solo questing. I see TBC groups looking for dps players for hours, lowbies asking for boost runs because they cant find enough people to do their dungeon quests.
People arent even leveling alts in any major numbers at the moment, and i firmly believe it would help to have the time gap to do outdated content reduced.

They’re not supposed to. New players are supposed to level in the game, by questing; you know, the intended way to play the game.

For new players? Absolutely.
I don’t think WoW in general has attracted many new players. Most of us are returning, or continuing players.
Love it, people are quitting due to gearscore, elitists, locked realms, dead zones and we are in phase 1. Gehennas and firemaw don’t even have queues anymore.
Seriously you deserve it. I know you hardcore questers don’t care, you are playing a single player game anyways but it’s a shame such a great expac gets ruined because people fail to understand that we are not back in 2008 but rather reexperiencing something from that era and all that it implies.
Enjoy the crying after RDF thinking it makes people invest 150+ hours… Not that anybody cares but not resubbing when this period ends and this is my last post on this forum.

Well that, and phase 1 is faceroll.
We knew this coming in and have been warning people about it. Phase 1 is the phase of alts and they took away the enjoyment of levelling alts.

@Devium, all: Since you do not intend to post anymore, this is for the benefit of other posters. Both Gehennas and Firemaw had queues on Wednesday. Gehennas somewhat over 2 900, Firemaw’s was small, only a few hundred and did not last long.

But that’s exactly what we’re doing! Re-experiencing the game, I don’t understand what you’re trying to say. But people who quest also do dungeons, and raid, and all the other things. They just aren’t trying to finish the game as fast as possible.
You’re talking about alts for crying out loud when you talk about 150+ hours, which is an exaggeration.
Sounds like one less gearscore person in the game, can’t be a bad thing.

No, not a typo. Lvling from 70 to 80 was the worst thing I’ve ever done in wow. Genuinely horrible. It starts out fine in every zone u start in. Alot of quests etc. Ofc tho it slows down as u get less and less quests so u go from a top of about 400 to 450k an hour xp down to like 200 to 300k. I personally think the jump between lvl 69 to 70 and 70 to 71 is too much for most people lvling to think yh I wanna do this.
