Greetings fellow Zandalar Tribes-people!
We bring you the guild that draws its roots from the times of The Burning Crusade, a guild that always was about world PvP and light RP elements and mostly about like-minded people gathering under same banner to socialize and enjoy the battlefields of Azeroth. We bring you <Battlelust> !
A bit of history about this guild first:
Originally created by my hunter Nataliya in the Ravenholdt EU server during The Burning Crusade, that guild was created to be a home for all WPvP enthusiasts who also enjoyed a bit of RP here and there.
Our goal was always try to provoke as much PvP we could and we even organized few WPvP events (like that one near Karazhan, where each faction had 3 ”kings” who were to be escorted to safety from the tunnels under Karazhan, all the way up to the highest tower, in case there are some old-timers who remember such things).
We also did some light RP and even if some members didn’t find that aspect of the game fitting for them, everyone was expected to respect RP rules (after all, Ravenholdt is RPPvP server). We had ups and downs, like every guild, but even to this day the original <Battlelust> prevails in Ravenholdt… dormant now.
Now we’re here in classic and the guild is opening its doors to everyone who want to enjoy WPvP and RP together!
Our theme!
We are a band of mercenaries who fight for the highest bidder (not exactly using in-game gold). We could be acting as a bodyguard for RP events. Hired as a kill-squad to take down some enemy factions member, or we could be patrolling through Azeroth and fight horde where ever we might encounter them. That last bit doesn’t even need anyone to hire us, since we’re more than willing to test our fighting capabilities in the field of battle!
We aren’t exactly a ”military RP guild”, but more like a group of adventurers who just happen to share similar endless lust for battle! If we can make few coins (RP-wise) doing what we like, all the better!
What we seek!
People who are willing to help each other, be it PvP situation or when someone hits the wall with their questing. After all, a guild should support its members by being social and helpful and not just leave everyone to their own fate.
This is something I can’t stress enough: you are not required to drop everything you’re doing to help someone who’s on the other side of the Azeroth, but if you’re able to help, as a guildmember of <Battlelust> you should consider offering your help to your fellow fighter!
People who join guilds usually join for reason and that reason might be that they don’t want to experience this world completely alone, stranded from everyone else.
We also require you to at least respect the RP rules, which means that you are not ordered to join RP events and do RP if you don’t want to, but you’re expected to respect people who do their RP. And if those people happen to be horde, then you shall deliver proper RP to them with a blade! It’s a dangerous world after all, and horde is currently our enemy faction.
There are really no other demands for our members, except that they act politely towards other guild members and other alliance people too.
Of course, if you do RP and in that you’re having a grudge against someone within our faction, then that’s perfectly fine! After all, RP grudges shouldn’t affect how you actually think about someone else. So please be polite to other people.
…except horde. With them you can do as you please, as long as you use your harmful magic or sharpened blade against them! We all might have our carebear moments, but try to provoke WPvP where ever your adventures guide you!
(That being said, we don’t support corpse camping. Ganking is allowed and you can take down low lvl enemy if you so choose, as long as you don’t constantly try to prevent them from their own adventure… unless they are the ones who keep attacking you, your group or other members of the alliance or alliance settlements! Then it is up to you to drive them away!)
All in all, we’re trying to build a guild that welcomes like-minded people to enjoy classic with us. You don’t have to be the most social person and we don’t require you to be the most skilled fighter there ever was, just as long as you enjoy the game and your time with us!
After all, that’s what this game is supposed to be about: fun and how everyone makes it fun for themselves. Our guilds goal is to try and support you with that goal.

In the future we’ll be creating contacts to other WPvP guilds and the plan is to organize events with them and with our own guildmembers. Those events will be posted to forum and are naturally open to each and every WPvP lover out there, so stay tuned!
