We have been trying to create a charter neighbourhood of people who enjoy the game, enjoy housing, and participate in community activities. Its been tough getting it off the ground. So recently when my wee group were offered the chance to join a guild with a neighbour that appeared to be of similar values, one that was ready made for us to be part of, we deeply considered and we joined.

Four days later we were told, we (as a collective) did not fit. All of us, did not fit. Laughable when two of us had not even had the time to move their houses over yet!

That’s fine and fair in the world of communities, I am not concerned about this, what I am concerned about is all the other players who have experienced similar things. Those that believed in giving someone a chance only to be thrown to the gutter because you did not fit.

Because they did not fit.

I am 54 years old and have played wow for 22 of those years, I have made and lost communities over this time, and understand the value of both community and people,

I also have an illness that prevents me from working and will take me from my family too quickly. I care for four children two who experience the world differently through autism (one plays wow occasionally) So it is important to me to be with people I am comfortable with. And with the friends that joined this guild with me, I am, and I thank them and apologise to them for taking them to this place.

I also want to thank the guild whose cosy unity we did not fit with, its definitely for the better, as in the long term it would have probably been you that did not fit with our values.

However I now find myself being displaced with my friends; who too are adults who touched with autism and long term illness.

So please let me put this out there.

If you don’t have a home and want one, come to us, if you are neuro divergent, or are touched by it and want to be around people that get it while playing wow, come to us, sign our charter be in a neighbourhood and around people that embrace the World of Warcraft values of Ambassadorship. Not one that will push players aside because they don’t fit.

hey, may I ask which plots are taken? My husband, my friend and I are at 24, 28 and 43

You can have them if you wish. The onlY two that are taken by my friends so far is are 0 and 39

I want to reach out and thank everyone in the community that read my post yesterday and got in touch. I would also like to thank my new neighbours who have taken up residence inThe Ethereal Glen for allowing us to take the step forward to creating this community.

But for now may I say that Ethereal Glen is looking for residents. WE only have had 10 plots taken: 0 6 11 46 39 4 28 43 and 24 all the other plots are up for grabs. SO if there is one you fancy get in touch asap.

We are looking for people that play and love wow, LOVE the creativity of housing, are happy to work together to fulfil endeavours and perhaps join in the occasional neighbourhood activity! We moved in yesterday and already the resident worked as a team to complete milestone four of our endeavour.

If you are considering joining us please know that we welcome people that experience the world the the lens of neuro divergency, We want a safe space within our community for everyone to thrive.

After myself and four of my friends, who are all touched by autism or long term illness in one way or another, were told by a guild we joined that we “ did not fit” with their cozy community and were thrown out after 4 days, we want to make sure that we have a place where everyone fits.

There are still a massive amount of plots you would be very welcome. what I have found about my neighbours is they are players of the game and have a love of housing and community. it will be great to pick a new endeavour as neighbours and work it to completion. find me on Mojax#2225 send a wee message and we can meet at the neighbourhood board to get you in.
