About us

Formed by three experienced raiders, Hopeless Incompetant is a guild formed for a more relaxed approach to heroic and mythic raiding. Our current aim is to build a steady core for Heroic clears, with a view to pushing mythic content in a relaxed environment for those who both want it and are able.

We plan to start by forming a flex raid team, focused on clearing heroic every content patch, and then taking the players who are both capable and willing, and shifting the raid priorities to Mythic during the week with flex raid day(s).

What you can expect from us:

A relaxed approach to both raiding and mythic+ content. We will provide structured, planned raiding and drive focus into the raid during boss attempts. In order to clear content, we may rotate or switch people in and out of the raid on the first few kills.

If you are switched out for performance issues, we will endeavour to speak with you after the raid and point you in the right direction in order to push the raid team forward as a whole. Otherwise, don’t worry too much.

What we expect from you:

Class knowledge, ability to play and knowledge of tactics prior to joining the raids – there’s nothing worse than a raid team being held back by one or two individuals, that’s not fun for anyone. We of course allow for mistakes and the learning curve, but also improvement each time.

Fully gemmed and enchanted gear, flasks, food and potions. If there’s anything additional required, we will either provide it or notify you well in advance.
Use of the in game calendar to sign for all raids and a minimum of 80% overall attendance, though of course real life gets in the way sometimes, so if this is the case please speak to one of the officers.
