Who We Are
Illustrious is a casual raiding guild here on Sylvanas, formed back in Vanilla by a couple of friends, at which point the guild grew its inner circle, most players that formed the guild are still here. The guild itself is very casual in raiding as well as everything else, but we do expect a certain degree of focus and seriousness when faced with tougher content. We raid 2 nights a week with potential extra runs, boost runs and/or alt runs.We aim to clear HC(8/8 atm) while it is relevant and further down the line, we hope to push into Mythic(1/8M), when we feel we have the correct raiders as well as numbers. At our core, the guild is compiled mostly of RL friends who have been raiding together at varying degrees of content since vanilla. Because of this, we feel that we show a specific type of stability within the guild due to familiarity between the players that are active within the guild itself. Due to our fairly casual nature we also welcome social members of any level of experience and ability, with defined requirements to meet that allow social members to join raids if/when they are ready and want to.
Current Aim and What We Want
We are currently building a mythic raiding team, our current core is "flexible" due to RL commitments of our players, on average we have 15-20 ppl present in the raids, but some of them are still not ready to commit or are still undergeared or inexperienced at this moment, because of this we are actively searching for capable and mythic ready players to join our roster.
The aim is to provide a our members with sufficient progress and sense of accomplishment even with such restricted 2 raids per week(although 3 raids per week is being considered when faced with content which requires more time and effort to clear, but this is decided between the raiders if they want to schedule an extra raid)
If you’re the kind of person who puts a lot of time and effort into your character and is eager to learn and progress through current content at a brisk pace,and you are currently geared enough to enter our progress runs and to be able to hold your own - this is the guild for you.
Raid Times/Requirements
We raid twice a week; Sund & Wednesday - 19:45 - 23:00 and we expect a high level of attendance. We do however understand that real life has to come first and do not demand apsolute attendance no matter what, most of us are busy with work or college duties so lack of attendance can be worked around raid-wise as long as it is announced before-hand that you wont be coming. We ask this because it is necessary for our raid leader to know at any point in time who is coming to the raid.
We expect our raiders to :-
Be prepared for raid start, this means :-
Be appropriately geared for the content, what this amounts to will be defined for each tier of raiding at the time.
Read up on tactics for all bosses we plan to attempt during the raid.
All consumables (Flasks, Potions, Food, Runes - unless they are provided by the guild, which will be announced)
Be able to listen to and understand tactics in English on Discord.
Be able to give and receive constructive criticism.
Also be able to keep quite with non constructive comments during raid encounters to allow the players who need to announce raid specific messages to the rest of the raid.
**Because of the guild's long history, we are currently searching for a smaller guild with a dedicated core of members of approximetly 5-10 raiders and as many socials or others willing to join. We are looking for a guild willing to merge with us in order to form a stable 20man raiding team. In Uldir we've had a 20man team, but the core was flexible and could not be fixed with recruitment, so now we are resorting to a potential merge, any guild that is interested in joining us, please add one of these 2 battle tags:**

Due to the sudden influx of new members we are currently in need of a healer, we are still looking for 1 or 2 competent dps players to fill up our 20man roster for mythic progression.
Mythrax down on HC. The classes we need currently are DH(DPS), Lock and monk(healer/dps). All other classes will be considered.
G'huun is down, Uldir is cleared now on normal and heroic. Recruiting still for our heroic and mythic progress roster.
We're missing just 1 healer, preferably holy priest as well as 2 or 3 dps such as DH,monk,warrior and lock. All others are free to contact us, we will consider anyone. Starting active mythic progression soon!
Mother down on mythic difficulty. We are still looking for 1 or 2 decent ranged dps classes, preferably a boomkin or a warlock.
One or two spots have opened up, and we are currently recruiting any ranged class, preferably a Warlock,Mage,Boomkin(in high demand) or a shadow priest.

Bump! Still need 1 or 2 ranged dps for progress on Fetid and Zek'Voz Mythic. Prefferable class for our roster is currently a boomkin. But we are willing to consider other classes such as warlock, shadow priest, ele shaman. Also a big plus would be that the classes have viable OS.

Conclave and King Rastakhan are down, we’re 6/9 atm. Still looking for a decent dps and a healer to progress further in mythic than 1/9.

Mekkatorque and blockade are down! We are slowly stepping up for mythic progress. To do that we need a few more dps classes to fill up our core team roster. We are also looking for a good healer. Requirements are that you can raid our raid times, you’re active in m+, your gear is adequate and your logs are decent enough. We also accept socials as well as mythic+ only players.
