About us
Infinitely riveting is a casual HC raiding and M+ guild. Whilst we have members across Europe, we are a mainly English speaking guild. Many members of the guild have been playing together for quite a few years, but as we have had some people retire from the game, we are currently looking for new members to bolster the ranks, progress in raids, chill out and have fun with in 9.1.
Our values
Our most important values are inclusion and respect. We have a range of members playing WoW within our guild with a wide spectrum of abilities and we do not judge people based on their ability to play the game. We want to cultivate an environment where everyone is included, and we all help to get everyone in the guild towards the objective of getting Curve. Even though there are occasionally challenges, we have always managed to achieve this objective every raid since Legion. We would encourage anyone signing up to share this with us.
Our other most important value is having fun! We often joke around and play music during our raid nights. We believe that having fun and being dedicated are not mutually exclusive, and we find that we play best when everyone is in a good mood. As such, we do try our best to maintain this atmosphere for our guild events. We also keep in touch outside of the game via Discord, and tend to play other games with each other.
Raids
- Our raid nights are Weds and Sunday from 8pm to 11pm.
- Invites for raids start 15 mins before the raid begins
- Whilst we take a relaxed approach to raiding, we have always completed Curve and is a priority for us to achieve every raid.
- We do not have a policy for benching players in raids, but we do expect that all players try their best relative to their abilities – this means coming prepared to the raid having watched some parts of the raid, enchanting/gemming appropriately and being prepared with consumables.
Other guild activities
- We run a guild M+ night on Tuesday where we help guildies get keys for their weekly chest.
- As a group of friends, we also organise other games nights where we play other games like Cards against Humanity, Scribbld, Pummel Party, etc.
Current recruitment priorities
- We are currently recruiting all roles and classes. Saying that, we currently have the most need for the following:
- Range DPS – anything except for hunters
- Healers
- We recruit both members who want to raid regularly as well as players who prefer to be more casual
Guidelines
- Progression: We believe that progressing as a guild is important, therefore we ask that if you raid with us, that you also do not pug raids beyond where the guild has progressed.
- Attendance: We do not have a minimum attendance threshold. However, we do ask that you sign up to the raid calendar or remove yourselves from the invite if you are no longer able to make it at least 2 days before the raid. This is so that the raid organisers can help plan the raid to see if there are any alternative arrangements that need to be made.
- First names: We generally communicate with each other on a first name basis and encourage newcomers to do so as well. We find that this helps foster a friendly environment and help us get to know one another. However, we know that some people may not be comfortable with this, so please let us know if you prefer not to be known by your first name.
- Discord: We have a relatively active discord server which we use for voice communications, updates and other banter. We would encourage you to also have a working mic to participate, but if you do not then we would like that you are at least able to listen.
- Maturity: We do not have a minimum age policy, but we do expect a level of maturity from our members. Saying that, the average age of the guild does trend older (30+).
- Anti-social behavior: We are not anti-fun and do encourage playful banter. However, we have a very low tolerance for any deliberate hateful speech, rude or disrespectful behavior.
