To be honest. No. +10 and +20 is lightyears away from each other.
Simply not true at all there is a vast difference of player ability needed to complete a 20 on time compared to a 10 no matter what item level you have .
Build a team of friends around 6/7 and discuss what times and nights you can play together do keys then . Timers for me and many others are part of the fun to beat .
yea, about 20 item levels away from each other.
How is this calculatable in ilvl⊠Even with current max ilvl you have one-shots in +20. In +10âs that is never happening, also not with 20 ilvl less.
The game just isnât as hard as people like to make it out to be.
The things that is hard is finding other players who are able to play at the same skill level as oneâs self. Because if you canât do that then you are only ever going to lose levels off of your keystone, and then you have to wait for the weekly reset to get another keystone at the level which you need.
Of course. It is not hard. Come on. Like nobody gets to +20âs. Especially because there are not that many players can do those levels is probably proving it is damn hard.
There arenât that many players doing 20s because the current Keystone system is so degenerative that more levels are lost on Keystones each week than gained.
How are players ever supposed to get to even try high level dungeons when their keystone keeps losing levels? They are not even able to practice at the next level.
But I personally do not think the game is hard. Once you know your character well enough, with the right keybindings it is just like playing a piece of music on a piano.
On those +20 levels by far most players have their own groups. Damn, even i got my own group and my non meta group is definitely not on +20.
The things you say about those levels shows you basically knows nothing about higher M+.
No, it shows that you donât understand my point.
If you take a group of characters and give them all a full suit of the best gear, with fully optimal stats for their specifications and let them practice at higher levels then they will be able to conquer that level. But if you take the current system and keep punishing them by taking a level off of their keystone, and randomising what they get to do next then they wonât be able to do that.
This is why WoW e-sports is not fair game, and you donât see many at the top.
Doing that already for quite a while.
Ok. Good for you. I mean it, congratulations for being able to achieve that.
Now, this is why I think they should make Keystones as per my original suggestion. So that everyone has a fair chance to do the same.
If you want to go for real on keystones you should stop pugging. It is completely fair. You only hurt yourself by going the pug-route. Without the needed coordination in your runs. You do this to yourself. You are 100% responsible.
PUGs or not, I am at a point with Keystone dungeons where I feel there is no point in trying to progress any more. Because if 1 person makes 1 mistake then I have to start all over again from the previous level or lower. Getting sick of it.
I have some friends in the game. But I donât find them online when I want to do dungeons. Or they are not able to do the dungeon that I need for my progress. PUGs are needed. So the current system is not fair to myself or to others who are similar to myself.
I appreciate that it works for some people, and that those people are going to be reluctant to accept changes. But the way it is now, is exclusive to some and very punishing to others.
Friends. 5 keys. All keys are relevant. You do not need to start all over. You have to accept that you will do reruns of keys you have already done. You have to accept that science runs will be done to make next runs of that dungeon better, by depleting some keys. That is what you do in M+. And by pushing keys you have to accept that 50% of your runs are going to deplete a key, since you play on your limit.
I did today Theater 16 (got 17 already timed), spires 17 (had also already timed before) Mists 18 (first timed +18), untimed SD +18. For the record; my own key is a halls 15.
Repeating, science, coordination of pulls, ccâs and interrupts. Positions of pulls. Coordination of defensives. Coordination which cooldowns are blown on prides. Etc etc etc.
And most important: Have fun.
With a system where Keystones have XP and levels, you would have to re-run dungeons to level up your keystone. You just wouldnât have to lose a level off of it, unless you found it too difficult to do a dungeon at a higher level, and then you could remove levels off of it or cap the xp on it at an NPC.
There would be a forward facing way to progress.
I donât accept having my Keystone for 4 weeks in a row going from level 14 to level 10 or 11 and then never going back up to level 14⊠because of the failings of other people.
You seem to miss the point that you are responsible of with who you play with. If you fail to go to discord servers for M+, or join M+ communities, or make friends along your pugging-road, then you are to blame. How do you think other people got their M+ groups? In the supermarket?
And in a M+ group people make mistakes too. Keys get depleted all the time. By you and by the other 4. It is a group-effort. But it is difficult content.
Blaming it on this friendship factor is very, hmm, derogative might be the right word here.
You should not have to be a social butterfly in order to play this game. It isnât a popularity contest. People come to play games because they find it hard to socialise in real life. And this idea that people âshould go and make friendsâ could come across as quite offensive to those people.
Getting sick of hearing this now. Its kind of like saying to someone âHaha you donât have any friends and nobody likes you so tough muck you are not allowed to progress in this game.â
The game is hard. If you go into a game mode where coordination is key to success and you do not want to talk, then it is still on you.
The game isnât hard but socialising can be very hard, OK!
