Our vision on WoW gaming:
Of Sound Mind is a guild on the Alliance side of the Silvermoon server where you as a player can have fun with a group of likeminded people in a positive and social environment. We foster an environment of inclusivity, which means that people of all ages, races, sexualities, gender identities, belief systems, and so on feel welcome and are accepted in our guild/community. In addition, we are open to newer WoW players and help them out and coach them to become better players whenever possible. We have a discord server where you can hang out during dungeon runs and raids or just for some evening pub-style conversations (you have to bring your own beverage tough).
We believe that with the right atmosphere and member attitude a lot of fun can be had in World of Warcraft, the kind of fun that will result in group accomplishments such as clearing raids and obtaining shiny loot.
We also recognize that our members have a real life and other responsibilities outside of WoW as well. While we do take the game seriously and have solid dedication to progress further in it, real life responsabilities and especially our families always come first.
Our Activities:
Guild activities are mainly focussed on PVE content, being weekly raids, Mythic+, Heroic Warfronts and Mythic Island Expeditions.
- Weekly Raids :
We raid on both normal and heroic difficulty with maybe the odd dipping our toes into Mythic. Raid days are Wednesday and Sunday from 20h30 till 23h Server time.
Our current progress in Eternal Palace is 8/8N and 6/8HC.
We aim to clear heroic before the end of the raid tier in each season (“Ahead of the Curve” achievement) as well as do the “Glory of…” mount achievement of each raid tier in a guild group. Flasks and food are provided by the guild during raids, members with good raid attendance also get free repairs.In order to further strengthen our raid team we are specifically looking for following roles / classes:- Tank (Any class)
- Melee DPS: Rogue preferred, others welcome as well.
- Ranged DPS : Mage & Boomkin as prio, any others welcome as well.
Exceptional players of other classes/specs will be considered as well.
- Mythic+ / Heroic Warfronts / Island Expeditions:
While these are not scheduled, guild groups are formed on almost a daily basis to do M+, mythic island expeditions or heroic warfronts together. Just ask in guild chat !
So it doesn’t matter if you are new to the game, or an existing player with 10 years of WoW experience, if you recognise yourself in our values, you will feel right at home.
