Hey there!
You interested in brawling? Punching your friends for coin and glory? Why not join the brawl held next saturday ? It’ll be held in the Deeprun Tram at the Stormwind Side.
There will be booze (if we remember to bring it), and there will be brawling! The winner gets a grand prize! (minimum prize 2 gold, might become more)
Anyone can join in, but to join the brawling competition you need to pay an entry fee of 1 silver. Don’t worry! That silver will go towards the main prize! So if you win, you earn your money back!
If you’re a member of the Brawler’s guild, your entry fee is waved.
I hope to see you there! Tell your friends! Bring a stranger! Tell a friendly stranger, bring a strange friend!
Event Time & Location
When is the event? 2019-09-07T18:00:00Z
Where is the event?
At the Deeprun Tram, on the Stormwind City side, the nearest substation if you go down into the tunnels.
Layers?
If you’re in a different layer and still want to attend, I’m sure a raid can be set up (several if we have more than 40 people)
Will there be more brawls in the future?
If this one is a success, certainly!
Brawling rules
Actual /dueling is not allowed inside the Deeprun Tram, so this means levels will matter little during the brawl.
A brawl will be held by /rolling and /emoting. /Rolls for the random effect, and /emotes because, hey, this is an RP server.
- To enter the brawling contest, you need to pay 1 silver, unless you are a guild member of Deeprun Tram Brawlers
- Brawls will last till either contestant has won 3 /rolls
- Contestants are allowed to lower their own /roll value if they feel this adds to the roleplay
- Two current Brawlers can agree among one another if they would rather forgo the /rolls for a more stylistic fight.
- Betting is prohibited (not allowed to earn / take coin to predict winners)
- Predicting the winner is allowed, as long as its not as a bet.
- If you have lost a fight, you are out the running, but are free to stay and cheer the others on.
- The eventual winner of the brawling contest, will take home the grand prize, which exists out of all the entry fees, and additional coin added by the Deeprun Tram Brawlers guild. (minimum 2g)
That’s about it for the event and the rules, if you want to know more about our guild, here’s some extra information!
Deeprun Tram Brawler's Guild
As a sort of wink and nod towards the Mists of Pandaria Brawler’s Guild, I decided to create the Deeprun Tram Brawlers.
It’s mostly a social guild, with casual aspirations towards raiding, respect towards the roleplay side of the server, and intentions to hold monthly or bi-monthly events.
It’s a young guild (like many others, classic hasn’t been live that long) that will grow slowly. I hope that its members think along with the direction and type of events and roleplay we will do in the future.
The brawling aspect of the guild is just an rp hook for people to find their way into, but it is not at all forced that you are good at brawling, pvp, or even any other part of the game. As long as you know how to be kind and social, you’re welcome to join.
If you want to join, see if you can find anyone online. Most brawlers can invite others. It’s not fight club. We don’t have that ‘first rule’. See you online!
