Splendid to see that the Poetry Appreciation Society is still going strong after all this time. Itās always been a good place to see what others are able to come up with - be it serious or lighthearted.

Yes, Iād even say itās been going stronger than ever recently.
In the nature of the event I really never know how many people are going to attend or how many people will actually contribute with poems, and the event have had itās ups and down throughout the time I have run it, but recently there have consistently been a quite reasonable amount of people both attending to the meetings and contributing to them, which I am really happy about.
Just checked the date of my first post in this thread and realized it has been just about 4 years since I started to host the first meetings, honestly didnāt think it had been that long, but I feel grateful to have managed to create an option and opportunity for people to have their characters have a cultural experience and express them self creatively that has turned into something people really appreciate and enjoy taking part of.
In my opinion though we could still use more options for IC cultural RP experiences and for having peopleās characters express them self creatively.

And thanks for attending, this one was indeed a great meeting, a lot of really nice contributions.
In the nature of these meetings, not being curated at all, and not really ever for sure knowing how many people will actually attend, itās always hard to predict how they are going to turn out, but recently there have been a nice amount of people attending and contributing, which I am really grateful for, a great feeling to have managed to create something people really appreciate and enjoy participating in.
Not specifically as a reply to you, since you would know this already, but just as a general update to the thread:
Bertel wrote yet another poem, which he opened up the meeting reciting, really a children poem, but non the less a quite nice one, to be exact a lullaby poem for Gnome children:
Lullaby for Little Gnomes
Bedtime now for little Gnomes
Shutting lights in little homes
Tug so snugly under sheets
Welcome dreams of cunning deeds
Sow the seeds of morning sun
Night has come and day is done
With closed eyes theyāll now receive
Relieving comfort of sweet sleep
When they wake up vitalized
Waving darkness a goodbye
Rising with a tumbling sigh
They shall earn the answer why
Everyone must rest assure
That their dreams are sweet and pure
So by daylight they may learn
What they own and how to earn
Secrets of the night time riddle
Mystery of flute and fiddle
Curtains now all cast aside
Shining sun will stand them by
Do the tasks that day requires
Tired now again retire
Cuddle sleepy down in bed
Once again a day ahead

Had to make yet another new thread, since I didnāt keep proper track on time and to my dismay discovered that the other new thread had been closed due to the 1 month rule.
Will keep more track of time in the future.
The reason why I originally decided to make a new thread was that the OP in this original thread had fallen to the 1 month rule long ago and cant be updated.
