The Bladecrest Sentinels
Founded to spare relief and manpower to the embattled territories of the starborne at the height of the Burning Legion’s final and most brutal invasion, both on Kalimdor and the Broken Isles, the Bladecrest fought in the shadow of the heroes of Azeroth, often to little gain except time. After the Legion’s defeat on Argus, the Bladecrest continued service some months into the Fourth War, chasing traitors in their own midst, until the many losses they had sustained lead to their dissolution and integration into the Black Moon army when the reclamation of Darkshore began.
The cadre’s captain went through years of scrutiny before she was entrusted with the mantle once more, when the blossoming of Amirdrassil and a new home for the kaldorei gave rise to the need of a light travelled unit, and a place for newer generations of fighters and defenders to rise and replenish the depleted sentinel army.
Taking on the name Bladecrest in honour of past sacrifices, their mission comes three fold; defense of their new home, salvaging scattered relics that were plundered or otherwise lost during the many conflicts in recent history and training the defenders of tomorrow.
Reflecting the modern changes made to the night elf military, the cadre takes sentinels of any gender, as well as auxiliary staff of worgen moonclaws.

Old thread: [A-RP] The Bladecrest Sentinels - Argent Dawn - World of Warcraft Forums
Hallo Argent Dawn roleplay enthusiasts!
The Bladecrest are looking for folks to make cool new stories with in anticipation for the upcoming chapter in the World Soul saga, with a theme on night elf military roleplay.
What to expect
Much of the activities pertaining to day-to-day military life is watered down in order to create more of an equal footing where every character can shine, retaining only enough of it to make for as an authentic and immersive experience as possible. Penalties like disciplinary actions are moulded to provide their own unique RP hooks and events with emphasis on training are narrowed to what is the most interactive and fun. It is played somewhat fast and loose, depending generally on what part of every day military we as players want to portray at any given moment and each member retains authority on when their character is on or off duty.
The guild is intentionally limited in scale to avoid oversaturation and to let characters retain the edge that makes them interesting to play for the individual portraying them.
What I expect from applying players
I don’t like to enforce a list of arbitrary rules and rather defer to people’s common sense and decency. My one hard ask is to respect the time and effort players put into this mutual hobby of ours.
Rudimentary knowledge on the setting and the lore is not a make or break requirement but certainly makes things easier. Characters are expected to have some manner of combat background, be that as sentinels, volunteers, mercenaries, or even interracial organizations like the SI:7 or the 7th Legion.
Campaigns, Events & Main Stage
Guild campaigns so far have revolved around artifact hunting, acquiring lost assets of the night elves that’ve been lost during their many years of conflict, plundered by either the Horde, or residing in the hands of neutral profiteers.
Outside of major campaigns, the Bladecrest is stationed on Amirdrassil, patrolling, training and engaging with the good citizens of Bel’ameth (mostly on friendly terms).
We are happy to engage with the larger crowd that makes frequent use of Amirdrassil as a hub, with our days of most RP activity usually being Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Thank you for taking the time to read!
