Long-time heroic-only guild Cakeman is going MYTHIC in 8.3 and is looking for active and ambitious players to bolster our ranks! Cakeman has existed since 2007 as a casual social guild that has focused on achieving Ahead of the Curve each raid tier. With the start of 8.3 and the Nyalotha raid, we are continuing our venture into mythic which has started promisingly in 8.2 (3/8 M) but was hindered by lack of players.
In addition to our stable heroic raid team, we have built a one-day mythic raid team with raid times on Sundays, 7-10 pm server time. We are still looking for adult players who, like us, want to get the most out of a limited play time per week by knowing their class, being well prepared for raid nights and being able to concentrate for 3 hours to get as much progress done as possible, while staying positive and having fun with the challenging content. As we are part of a sociable guild with different out-of-raid activities, we hope to attract players who join us on discord for dungeons, alt raids, or just for the fun of it.
We are currently in need of a healer and a few more DPS.
What you can expect of us:

- out-of-raid activities like M+ Mondays, alt/social raids, transmog competitions, seasonal fun activities, and many more

We expect of you
- to have very good knowledge of your class and role
- to be willing to prepare for raid nights by watching/reading guides
- to come to raids fully prepared with enchants, gems, potions and runes
- to contribute your share of flasks for cauldrons and materials for feasts
- to be aware that mythic raiding is a team effort and to behave accordingly (i.e. no drama on being benched etc.)
Cakeman values their polite, helpful and respectful players. Toxic and inappropriate behaviour in any form will not be tolerated, no matter if during raid nights, on guild chat or on discord.
We have cleared HC in week 4 and are currently at 3/12 mythic with 9% on Shad’har. We are therefore looking for people with similar experience and gear level, ideally 12/12 HC and above 465 ilvl.
