Silversong is a guild that was formed during BFA’s launch. We’re a normal/heroic raiding guild.
Some history about the guild:
At the beginning we struggled a lot as any new guild does trying to recruit. But as time went on we found more and more like minded individuals to get the guild in a solid state where we managed to meet our goals. We cleared Uldir on normal and heroic and Battle of Dazar’Alor on normal and heroic. And that is all we’ve ever aimed for. At the end of Battle of Dazar’Alor we decided to take an extended break. BFA wasn’t keeping most of us interested anymore and we therefore decided it was best to take a step back and enjoy other games. Now Shadowlands is creeping up closer and we wanna go into the new expansion with a fresh and clean slate for everyone.
Goals:
What we seek to accomplish is to have a relaxed attitude towards raiding and clear the content we wish to clear at a pace that fits our goals. Our goals are to clear Normal and Heroic raid content and acquiring the Ahead of the Curve achievement. Being a guild that only does normal/heroic says a few things. We’ll have players of very different skill levels. But that is more than okay and fine with us as mythic is not our goal. However, this does not mean we are not open to the idea of trying to do some bosses on mythic. If there is enough interest and the content we set out to do has been cleared, we can sit down and discuss the possibility of attempting a few bosses on mythic. But we won’t ever set that as an expectation or a goal. We wish to emphasize that we are NOT a mythic raiding guild! We’ve seen plenty of guilds that advertise themselves as mythic raiding guilds, setting the bar way too high and just fall short of expectations. If you’re the kind of person that seeks quick Normal/Heroic progress and then mythic, then this is NOT the guild for you. We won’t have the clear speed of mythic raiding guilds.
What you can expect from us:
A non militaristic, “mature”, and relaxed guild with the ability to set expectations that are within reach and not overshoot and fall short of said expectation. We will not be requiring you to read up on boss fights. We understand that not everyone thrives in an environment where we are expected to “know” a fight before we even get to try it. We’re patient and willing to help you learn. That being said, if you know you are a player that needs extra times to understand a fight, we highly recommend doing some research on a fight before going into it, eliminating some factors that could lead to wipes and frustration. At the end of the day, it’s not bad to read up on a fight before, but we won’t require it.
What we want from you:
We want players that have humor, tries to be somewhat social and willing to kick gum and chew a**, and of course, wants to raid. We want you to not be afraid to fail, but we also want you to admit to any mistakes you make. Don’t be the kind of player that makes a blatant mistake and sits there pretending like nothing happened, take responsibility.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 19:30-22:30
