Account-specific scaling bug in Retail

Hello everyone,

I’m posting this because Blizzard Support advised me to submit a bug report and create a forum post so the developers can better understand the issue.

I have encountered a very strange scaling bug in (Retail) that appears to affect only my account.

  • What happens

In (Kun-Lai Summit), every creature I target appears as (Level 90).

However, if another player stands right next to me and targets the exact same creature, they see it as approximately (Level 30).

This happens with:

  • Normal mobs
  • Rare mobs
  • Elite mobs
  • Even the world boss

This is (not) just a visual issue.

The creatures actually deal Level 90 damage to me. For example, the Kun-Lai Summit world boss can almost instantly kill my character with a single hit, while other players see the same boss scaled normally.

  • What I have already tested

  • Disabled all addons (0 addons)

  • Clean UI

  • Zidormi timeline change

  • Multiple characters on my account

  • Completed the suggested Housing-related quest

  • Left and re-entered the zone

  • Relogged multiple times

Nothing changed.

Several players have witnessed this in-game because they were standing next to me targeting the exact same mobs and were surprised that they saw completely different levels.

Has anyone else experienced this account-specific scaling issue?

If a Blizzard developer reads this, I would be happy to provide screenshots or additional information if needed.

Thank you.

Its probably endeavors specific scaling, not account. I am sure your guild/community has Pandarian (or what) endeavors setting in this month.
