Add some kind of gear restriction for BGs

Seeing people with less than 100k hp when all enemy team have 500k+ is a joke. Someone had like 50k hp even. They don’t even have gear from BFA. Why are they allowed to even join BGs like that?

Its a feed for premades to que. All is fine, will be more when SL start and people will go to grind honour 24/7 on all alts.

Possibly as a consequence of having gear matter & feeding people’s sense of progression. Look how far you’ve come & how strong you are!

If there were ilvl brackets it could be a good idea, like here in BfA something like below 400, 400-425, 425-445, 445-460, 460-475. (So roughly the current raid difficulty tiers. Being normal raid geared against a CE mythic raider is kinda bad for you.)

OR, set a ilvl CAP on random BGs, And make RBG’s so you can soloqueue and then all the massively overgeared can go to the BG’s which was ment for them

Random BG’s was always ment for “just for fun - for every body” and not elitism. That’s what we have Arenas and Rated BG’s for. But lets face it, you elitists are only in the random BG queue because you can’t be arsed to deal with assembling a group and wait for Rated BG’s (which is why they died) - or can’t handle Arena.

Yikes. You have to try pretty hard to have health that low at 120. With the new pvp changes coming in Shadowlands, maybe ilvl brackets (not too many) might be a decent idea. You could have low brackets for fresh alts looking to farm gear, and once they are high enough they are no longer able to queue there.

The problem is that queue is sometimes longer than 10 minutes and you want to make it longer.

For me it should work like this: everything with Item lvl less than 450 is scaled up for 450 (like at low lvl bgs). Everything more is not touched. (Example for this patch numbers).
