Adding jobs to wow

I have an idea where you can have jobs, depending on each class, this will greatly enhance the RPG feel to WoW.

Doubloon will be a unique currency that you can earn from doing these jobs, that allows you to purchase unique items.

The idea is that this will also continue on across expansions.

Job Board:

  • Each class has its own dedicated job board displaying daily tasks, located in any of the major cities

Progress Bar:

  • Players will have a progress bar associated with their chosen job that has to be completed within 24 hours. This bar resets every day, to earn the full reward, completion is required.

Rewards for completion:

  • Class-themed cosmetic items (transmog, mounts, or pets).

  • Doubloons, gold and reputation with the group tied to the job.

I don’t know if this OP is real or some serious Chat gpt going on but… I get enough class RPG fantasy out of our talent specs.

And getting our professions up and going is enough jobs for me.

I am serious and I find class-lore in general lacking heavily, Legion brought up that to an extend with order halls but now It’s non existing…

?

Legion destroyed class fantasy.

I think it’s a great idea personally despite my parody of the interviewing process.

I’m just curious as to your ideas for Death Knight and Demon Hunter jobs.

I just see Death Knights as night wardens at a mortuary and Demon Hunters as McDonalds burger flippers trying to prove that fast food actually is fast.

DK albeit silly could work at the cities graveyard as a janitor and keep the graves in check incase for uprising (litterally)

“Oi!!! Illidanius or whatever your name is! We have an order for 3 big macs and two strawberry shakes! Make it snappy!”

Demon Hunter Fel Rushes everywhere and then Vengeful Retreats out door screaming he quits before blasting the drive thru window with Eye beam

“I should never employ teenagers with anger issues…”

DKs would be brilliant Outhouse Sanitisation Executives.

It weren’t much that I liked about Legion but I did appreaciate order halls albiet not perfect, It did build upon class lore.

DH: Sometimes a warlock forgot to open the portal and demons come pouring out. Hop in there and clear it out
DK: Having tomatoes thrown at you as the jester you are :]
Nah, I think you could join with the warriors for the seedier parts of Azeroth. The truth is, DK’s are actually pretty useless outside of being plain evil for no good reason. That’s kindda their thing - they wouldn’t have done any of what they did if they hadn’t been mind controlled by a dread lord’s creation. Idk…

But I like OP’s idea a lot. Could even have class-specific professions, eh? Game of course used to have these sorts of things but it was a bit limited and tied into player power in a way that annoyed people a bit. They should give it the same kind of treatment they gave dailies. Optional, strong fantasy, not required for power, and helps you define your character more than anything else.

whats with alll your chat gpt posts lately? Also how is this any idifferent from your recent "sub class"topic?

This isn’t written by ChatGPT. No way.

It isn’t, I have been comming up with unique ideas far before chatgpt was invented. Check my summary.

Then I am in the wrong… But it did come off too me as a huge FF fans ChatGpt writing how to write FFXIV jobs into wow…

Otherwise its very well thought out and made if I am missing here.

I’m an alchemist.

Nrrr… rewards are great but the job is not. Sounds rather tedious.
