Alternative solution to Feral Druid cat rotation changes after TBCC energy regen changes

Hi.
For those unaware of the issue, coming from here:

https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/please-revert-todays-feral-energy-hotfix-or-use-20-energy/967489

And also a great and detailed explanation of the issue can be read here:

Blizzard has already stated that this behavior is intended and they have no intention of returning the original energy regen system to Feral Druids (probably because that would have a lot of side effects to all other classes, which in fact benefits from the new system).

As such, and given the “particular” Feral Cat DPS rotation due to powershifting, I think an alternative solution would be simply to make a small change to the Shredding Atacks Feral Talent. Instead of reducing the energy cost of Shred by 9, make it reduce the energy cost by 10.

Thats it. Problem solved. You can leave the new “improved” resource regeneration system in place, all other classes and the code base are unaffected, yet we Ferals can still use our previous powershifting rotation.

Our DPS would be in line to how it was on TBC 2.0 era, which was pretty bad anyway. This change won’t increase our DPS output by much (as we would be only able to squeeze 2 shreds per powershifting cycle as before) but the rotation won’t be as frustrating to perform and our performance so lackluster as it is now.

Well.

Yesterday Hotfix finally addressed this, by returning Feral (and Feral only) energy resource regeneration to its original 2.0 behaviour, while keeping the new 2.2 system for the other classes. Yay!
