Zul’jin should really be taken as inspiration. Amani had always large noses.
I hope this will be fixed, alsong with maybe their chins.

Me too. Love the old Amani trolls from Warcraft 2. Them not being part of the Horde, just like the Ogres is like something is missing. The Horde has one clan, A smaller Forest troll clan part of the Horde but they are not the Amani. The Amani was the coolest, crazy, wild, furious berserker trolls. It seems they are preparing/setting the Amani up to become a Allied race for the Horde in the future. First negotiate, helping them, then saving the ones that been kidnapped and perhaps help them believe in the LOA again. No way they made those altars of 4 LOA and not helping them worship the LOA again. And that is great, I want to Amani playable and I will race change my trolls to Amani.
I hope in Zul’aman we get to see Rokhan or Zekhan (Zappy boi, we haven’t seen him since BFA) to guide us through Zul’aman and met and negotiate with Zul’jins grand children.
Bwonsamdi might be there too, to gain more followers as the Amani don’t worship the LOA anymore and he might wanna come there and want persuade them to worship him instead.
Dude they are not trolls if they don’t have the Iconic traits that makes them a troll or they become a completely different race. But as others pointed out they look more like orcs, I said human as that’s what it looked like with those tiny nose when ifirst saw them. Haranir having a tiny nose is ok as they are different race. A half, half race.

Could been something they over look as they used a orc model. But since it is a Orc model, there is a chance for backstraight for Amani male as that is already in the game.
When the prey section of the trailer popped up, Amani troll showed up behind I notcied the tiny nose and “What the??” and later they showed at the dev panel more of the Amani. But I hope they fix it and don’t leave it like that.

I unsure if blizz heard about this. We wanted real long nose for amani trolls since TBC. Who gave idea shorter noses

Not every Troll. Only Amani / Forest Trolls. We know what they look like since WC2.
Differences are ok, even on a individual level. But changeing the esthetic so drastic is too much.
Originally the heel toe for the Zandalari was not included. After complains by players it was changed and it is now included… even if only painted on. I can only hope.

They aren’t Zul’jins children. They are his grand children.

Even race-wise they look hardly related to the Amani (Tusks and toes/fingers aside). As others said, the noses are too round and short.
As you can see on my posts I agree with this sentiment.
Their faces are really bad and need work.

I’m really confused how such a small nose and wrong face could have been approved in the first place.
Forest Trolls are a OG Warcraft race since WC2 and their faces never changed this drastic before. I really hope the backlash will help to get it fixed.

I don’t think it was really approved. More like “we have no finalized versions yet, so we show the WIP stuff with some rough painted textures instead”. Because we have really only seen 1 actual model of them as in-game footage yet. Considering 12.0 is first going into Alpha soon, there would be still enough time to correct them.
And if they (Blizzard) are really pedantic about the round and short noses, then just add long, pointy ones as customization option for the NPCs, so that some have them, not all.
