Anima Rewards Increased

This is probably the argument at Blizzard too, when they shift the balance in every patch. No combat benefits, therefore it’s fine to abandon a maxed-out Covenant. Hell, might even start the process again to have something to do

I’m very grateful I don’t have to do any anima grind, I can just get the upgrades/cosmetics and be done. If I want to ignore the cosmetics or upgrades I can, or delay them until I feel like doing them. I actually hate the endless treadmill they created with Legion and BfA and I very much prefer this change.

I know some players want to feel forever rewarded and made to log in the game daily to do chores. I just don’t. I want to log on and have fun and do things I want to do. I like there to be end goals to the things I’m trying to achieve etc.

Except you can’t, if you feel like collecting stuff, you’re on a months-long journey with levelling covenant features up and farming enough anima to get the merchandise. It’s not something you do over the course of a weekend or two. I worked since December to April to max out my Kyrian Covenant before being forced by circumstance to change, so that’s four wasted months as everything I achieved there is locked and unusable (until I can finally change covenant at the end of the expansion in two years time because time is a commodity like that and two years worth of time is nothing).

But you can, if you wanted to. Whilst I haven’t gone ham there are players who already collected everything in their sanctums before these achievements were added.

Personally I’d just finished getting all the sanctum upgrades at a more leisurely pace, when this change came in and it’s made getting the transmogs so much faster. There are two pages of cosmetics for me at the vendor and I’m onto the second page now.

People who’ve ignored it can easily get the first achievement as rank 1 in each sanctum upgrade. I prioritised this on the alts in other covenants but I’m not ready to start trying to gain any anima yet.

It would have been heaven if it was an account wide achie though.

I am talking about changing a covenant and starting all over, not the theory behind having-collected everything & how that is possible.

Ah I see, that is an unintended way to play. Some will do it, none the less.

I think it’s Fleks (in Echo) who has done all covenants and all unlocks in each. I can’t imagine how much time he’s spent playing to do that.

Ya it is

For a good while i was grinding anima daily doing every anima WQ I could find each day. I got burnt out and now… there is this, but I literally don’t have much will power left to gather even small amounts of anima.

account wide for the win we need this

OK so i don’t want to defend blizzard but
today i just did WQ’s on my druid and i don’t even know HOW
but i just put inside my anima storage like 3,9k anima
on other character it was from 1,9 to 2,5 k
maybe becuase im caped on souls but i like this

I’ve gathered about 5k anima already after the reset. Upgraded my mission table to rank 3 so I have all at rank 3 and just need to grind for the conservatory. But at this rate that I get anima, I’m all good and more than happy.

think i got 2k or more anima that includes the token from arden elite caling, wboss
the devourer one, amateur night another 250(previous one not todays wq)
bet on yourself lfr sire shriek sludgefist and SLG
and the collect x daily another 5x35 from conductor in bastion

alt hunter has one not turned in sanguine depths quest and remornia

Any plans to make it account wide to make it easier for alts to catch up?

Awesome that you bring it up again! Blizzard needs to hear our concerns.
I just posted on this in the PTR forum - https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/what-happened-to-anima-upgrade-rewards-on-the-renown-track-on-the-ptr/278382
