I haven’t upgraded anything other than the travel network, as the rewards just aren’t worth the time investment, and this won’t change anything for me. It’s still way too much of a grind.
mmo-champions.
Blizzard still doesn’t get that most people don’t care about anima. Most covenant mogs are bad anyway. Why would a NF rogue want to look like a druid?
People guessing random numbers on their forum is not an estimate.
The only reason I ever did pet battles in the beginning is because they were blocking me from getting my Garrison achievements. Evil achies!!!
Achievements should have been account wide from the get go.
And I don’t think the increase is substantial enough to make those dreadful WQ’s feel more rewarding nor does it take away the unpleasant feeling of dropping a lot of anima on one upgrade.
I fear Blizzard is doing the usual: being a tad too conservative on the changes.
But yeah, to not sound too negative: better than nothing I suppose.
I think for many you’re correct. Best I’d say for this is that it’s a nice thank-you for those who did put in the grind to upgrade their sanctums. I don’t see this inticising anyone into doing the grind who isn’t already well into it.
I’ve not upgraded any buildings (apart from the first tier mission table) and this won’t inspire me to do so yet. I’ll still to building up my anima (I’ve just over 10k now).
I’m still expecting further easement of the drought as even with this minor increase it is still way too stingey. Also my tolerance for being in the open world of SL has worn rather thin so I won’t be going out doing many WQs until we get flying (can’t see it before September and possibly might not be til the end of the year depending on Pathfinder reqs).
This is a good start but the Anima amount still feels really low. Is the achievement character based or account based?
@35 extra anima per WQ and each upgrade being 1,000 anima and there being four building mentioned that’s 4,000 anima. It will take ~120 WQs to pay off the first tier of upgrades.
Not sure if the next tier of upgrades adds more anima, so don’t know the maths there.
You are not running dungeon fot anima. You run dungeon to get gear and on top of that gear you get anima. If dungeons would have tons of anima it would make world content absolote and people would just spam dungeons.
Which is good thing. It means those sets and items will be rare becouse only dedicated players what will put up with grind will own them.
Character based as far as I’m aware.
I was looking at the mission table tab yesterday and thinking “nah not worth it” Blizz must have smelled that
To bump sanctum to R1 indeed it does make sense ,but ranks 2 + are significantly more expensive.
U don’t get achiv if u upgraded all buildings then changed covenants, i guess u getting punished for trying big time collecting everything from different covenants.
If you completely ignore the anima increase at: 9.1,9.2,9.3 (if we even see a 9.3 this time) and the end of the expansion.
No it won’t be as rare as you make it sound.
So you make players suffer for lore reasons…?
Wow
You play RPG so yes lore should have impact on gameplay.
No it is not ‘Lore’, it is ‘Ion’ we suffer for.
Lore shouldn’t impact this much, just my opinion ofc.
