How about allowing these monk animations to be disabled at will (in the settings or with a symbol)? I like the class as a whole, I like its variety of races, but I don"t like the fact that when holding a sword in his hands, he hits with his fist, not with a sword. And the fact that in a fighting stance the blade of the sword pierces the body of my monk. Yes, there is a symbol for the tiger"s paw, but auto-attacks still look ridiculous with a sword and combat stances with it.
The whole idea behind it, is that we fight with our fists and legs. Our weapons are mostly stat sticks. I doubt they will adjust animations for us, otherwise we just look like warriors or outlaw rogues in our animations and it take away from the hand to hand combat fantasy.

- I haven"t written about the ability animation charm. but only a combat stance, and auto-attacks. This will not affect the kicks and punches of the skills.
- Initially, the monk had a bug that auto-attacks used weapon animation, then they fixed it, and not so long ago they made a glyph for the tiger"s paw, which replaces the fist blow, with a weapon strike.
- This is only an opportunity for voluntary customization. Which does not require any great effort or alterations of the class
To be frank I quite like Glyph of Jab, it’s much more fluid animation-wise and nice to have one ability that doesn’t use fists and strikes with the weapon instead, plus I don’t like the animation of tiger palm.
And regarding the customization options, I would like to add that they could do something else that also requires little effort. Let us choose which stance our character is using in combat regardless of spec. Currently it’s WW→ Tiger, Brm→ Ox, MW→ Crane. For example I’d like to have my character use the Crane style while in WW spec. Would be nice to see.
