I would love to play WoD and eventually Legion Classic, but sadly I’m afraid we will have free port to Retail or MoP era.

Legion Classic would be defiantly announce along with WoD Classic. They would probably promise shorter WoD like 3 phases around 2+3+3 months. Then they would probably announce Legion Classic Era with option to transfer of characters to Retail.

In their announcement on X, the had a + sign included in the last line. So, I would not be surprised.
