I’d say it’s still better than BFA to me in terms of gameplay and broken stuff was there forever. S12 MoP was even bigger mess but MoP PvP overall is seen as the best this game ever had.
Let’s just agree on that the game is an incredibly bad state and leave it at that then.
Doesn’t really matter how bad it is compared to another bad season since it shouldn’t be bad in the first place.

Recognize the signs:
- Difficulty holding a job
- Affinity for ridiculous headgear (especially berets)
- Enjoys solitude in public spaces (coffee shops)
- Tries to engage the unwilling in conversations about socialism
- Detergent averse

as for me its rather simpel i do the contend i like, stuff like timer contend (mythic+ and soon Torghast) wel if blizz like to change this game in to a big E sport training camp well its there game but not for me, i like to have fun in here and anything whit a timer is not fun its toxic.
Takes a lot to push me to unsubscribe. This interview finally did it. I left for 6 months or more in BfA as well, in protest against LFR being mandatory to complete the war campaign. Came back when they changed it.
99% of the people on the forums whine about anything… so although i agree with your sentiment the truth is the forums are a vocal minority and those who do complain tend to funnily enough be complaining about something every patch or every expansion.
This isnt an attack on you… but ive said numerous times to people before it really is simple.
WoW is not the only game out there, if you’re not happy with the state of the game you should not be giving the company money - subs = money which gives them the sense that it is ok and you will keep paying.
If people seriously object to the game you are correct they have to vote with their wallets but the truth is most dont and stay subscribed, and many hide behind “Lul i dont pay i use wow tokens” not realising thats literally double the money in blizz’s backpocket anyway.
You’re 100% correct if you dont like the game unsubscribe go play something else and if you want to come back the game will be there
