Playing rated means doing whatever it takes to win. If winning takes clearing mythic raids, you go and clear mythic raids. It’s called competition. Professional athletes do a lot of things they hate doing, all for the sake of winning. They go on regimes, they grind all week, they eat food they don’t like. All it takes to win.
Your complaint is that some people don’t do all it takes and are defeated by people who did more. It’s not a valid complaint, mate. If I never step into a gym I can’t expect to compete against a professional athlete. My skill doesn’t even matter, I won’t be able to compete with the guy’s “item level”, measured in how much time he spent pve grinding at the gym. just to be ready for pvp.
In R6: Siege if you want to be a pro, you need to spend hours learning the maps. Playing alone or with a friend in custom games, just so when someone says “on top of hatch” you know where exactly to go in these giant and complex maps. Learning the maps is not fun. Learning the callouts is not fun. You have to do it if you want to be competitive.
Unfortunately, that seems to be the only way. I love this game and I really want to play it, but every time I see that overpaid ignoramus I realize that unsubscribing is the only solution. There are many simple solutions, we write about it every day for half a year, but it doesn’t work when we are dealing with fools. Honestly, reluctantly, I think I will have to move away from this game. It’s a pity that Diablo 4 won’t be out soon, so I can leave this game in peace and not look back.
I mean they can come with their own solution as long as they give attention to the problem instead of pretending it doesn’t exist. If 3000+ exped 2x Blizzcon winner team loses <1400 cr 1550 players who try to improve shouldn’t feel bad about them losing. There is huge problem right now but Blizzard ignores it. All we want it is:
-acknowledging the problem
-giving it an attention
-statement that they will try to find solution to it
I’m pretty sure they have access to logs to their own forums to check if that was the case considering viability of feedback.
P.S.:
Justin can sing and is someone says opposite then this person knows nothing about singing. I’m not a fan of his music but I have to admit that he is talented and the fact I don’t listen to it has nothing to do with his singing skills but rather with the genre and style of music he makes that I don’t like. I’m simple person if I don’t like his music I don’t listen to it and I have no problem with Justin Bieber. I wish him good luck but I won’t buy his CD or listen to him on spotify.
I wish people who are not satisfied with the current state of the game -would- Unsub, because we would then end up with less “OMG This Game is Dead!” threads.
Just Unsub, and Go. Don’t come here wailing about it, and trying to inflict your views on others, just have the courage of your convictions and actually -do- it!
Just walk away.
Anything else is like a toddler lying down and kicking their heels in a supermarket. “I Don’t like it! Nobody should like it! I want more people not to like it!”
Just vote with your wallet and go. Anything else is hypocrisy.
That is the point I made. You didn’t have the courage of your convictions to just Unsub and walk away. You just -had- to come here and try to encourage others to Unsub because you don’t like it.
That isn’t good behaviour, it is spiteful.
Just Unsub and Go. If as many people as you claim don’t like it, they will also unsub and go. Don’t come here wailing about it, because that is just petulant.
Why, you think he’s quite literally the only WoW player with that view? I seriously don’t understand why you people need to contradict someone when that person says “we” or “us” or something similar, as if he would speak for all. Nowhere in his post did he make any statement that could be construed as such, but it is also obvious he is not the only dissatisfied person in the game. I agree with him on some points, fundamentally disagree on others, I happen to think SL is a step up and I like it and won’t quit, but that doesn’t mean he has no right to say “we”. Heck, it’s even in his thread title, the “we” he is referring to are those that are unsatisfied, not everyone.
I really don’t know what kind of people do things like this. For me, it’s mindblowing. Op always wrote reasonable, simple and logical things, pointed out problems that are clear to everyone who has at least elementary intelligence, and therefore many people agree with him, so such a comment is, to put it mildly, stupid.
Exactly. But as I said, we are dealing with arrogant ignoramuses ie ignoramus, so it no longer makes sense to write, suggest, point out, etc.
No, you are quite correct, I cannot tell you not to do it. I can however describe how it looks to other people who are still enjoying the game, and question your motives in trying to get others to unsub.
I agree with quite a bit of your post, but here I have to stop you, because this is BS.
The reason why most specs are in your words benched is a playermade problem, NOT a blizzard one.
This is something everyone does to themselves. People look at gingi and Co and try to force that meta into your +10s despite it making 0 sense.
And don’t come back with but the aoe cap. The AoE cap only matters top end and legacy content. Over this expansion and BFA I’ve done around 1800+ keys. And of all the pug tank in the 2-16 area where most pugs are, none of them have pulled in a way that you need uncapped AoE classes. Yet your average Joe insists they need Mage/Boomie/rogue/WW…
Feedback does not suddenly grants you absolute power over the Devs.
If what you call feedback is to cry about PvP when Ion reply about PvE performances then it makes sense your posts are ignored.
36ilvl is >36% more stats, makes sense you’re getting destroyed. What Ion replied to was about mythic raiders doing multiple times more DPS (300, 400% ?) compared to gear scaling (<40% ?)
Feel free, if BFA didn’t change their minds when it comes to borrowed power then a few PVPers leaving won’t do much either.
But then how will we be informed of critical statistics, with well-backed sources, such as apparently the fact that half the game’s population has quit playing? Because the content people certainly aren’t making us aware of such terrible state of affairs.
Oh ffs, people still going on about this…? The 1 month sub is still there as always, and works just fine… there is a difference between buying game time and having a subscription… you cannot buy 1 months game time, but you can have the 1 month subscription
I don’t know dude, if you use the numbers of likes as a metric, and then share it to back up your support, I’m just saying that can be easily manipulated, so don’t blindly believe what you see. Makes little difference to me what your impression is (quote below).
Well I just checked and it seems like you’re right.
The shop first shows you the 2 months gametime for some reason so I took it for granted (altho I don’t understand the need for a “gametime” option when you can instantly cancel a sub…)
