Archaeology has changed in Battle for Azeroth so that completing archaeological artifacts no longer provides skill points. Instead, skill points can be earned directly through surveying. It’s takes up to much time. Please update it since you don’t planing to add anything for this profession in shadowlands. I just level up it from 1- 800 take max 5 h and from 800 to 930 takes ~5h and 4h min for last 20 skill points.

There will be no achaeology in Shadowlands at all. So ive not bothered with it on this new character.
I have stopped grinding the last few levels for BFA Archeology. Way too much RNG to expect and pray for a single point after farming archeo spots.
Yes, it was fun as a kid but with perspective it’s rather boring but even that game doesn’t have insane rng while grinding XP. You know what you get or when you’ll get to the next level.
